  • GEN_11:1 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.

  • GEN_11:2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.

  • GEN_11:3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for mortar.

  • GEN_11:4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top [may reach] unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

  • GEN_11:5 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.

  • GEN_11:6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people [is] one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.

  • GEN_11:7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.

  • GEN_11:8 So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.

  • GEN_11:9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

  • GEN_11:10 These [are] the generations of Shem: Shem [was] an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood:

  • GEN_11:11 And Shem lived after he begat Arphaxad five hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.

  • GEN_11:12 And Arphaxad lived five and thirty years, and begat Salah:

  • GEN_11:13 And Arphaxad lived after he begat Salah four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.

  • GEN_11:14 And Salah lived thirty years, and begat Eber:

  • GEN_11:15 And Salah lived after he begat Eber four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.

  • GEN_11:16 And Eber lived four and thirty years, and begat Peleg:

  • GEN_11:17 And Eber lived after he begat Peleg four hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters.

  • GEN_11:18 And Peleg lived thirty years, and begat Reu:

  • GEN_11:19 And Peleg lived after he begat Reu two hundred and nine years, and begat sons and daughters.

  • GEN_11:20 And Reu lived two and thirty years, and begat Serug:

  • GEN_11:21 And Reu lived after he begat Serug two hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters.

  • GEN_11:22 And Serug lived thirty years, and begat Nahor:

  • GEN_11:23 And Serug lived after he begat Nahor two hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.

  • GEN_11:24 And Nahor lived nine and twenty years, and begat Terah:

  • GEN_11:25 And Nahor lived after he begat Terah an hundred and nineteen years, and begat sons and daughters.

  • GEN_11:26 And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran.

  • GEN_11:27 Now these [are] the generations of Terah: Terah begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran begat Lot.

  • GEN_11:28 And Haran died before his father Terah in the land of his nativity, in Ur of the Chaldees.

  • GEN_11:29 And Abram and Nahor took them wives: the name of Abram's wife [was] Sarai; and the name of Nahor's wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah, and the father of Iscah.

  • GEN_11:30 But Sarai was barren; she [had] no child.

  • GEN_11:31 And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son's son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram's wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there.

  • GEN_11:32 And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died in Haran.

  • GEN_12:1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee:

  • GEN_12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

  • GEN_12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

  • GEN_12:4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram [was] seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

  • GEN_12:5 And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.

  • GEN_12:6 And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite [was] then in the land.

  • GEN_12:7 And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.

  • GEN_12:8 And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, [having] Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name of the LORD.

  • GEN_12:9 And Abram journeyed, going on still toward the south.

  • GEN_12:10 And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine [was] grievous in the land.

  • GEN_12:11 And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou [art] a fair woman to look upon:

  • GEN_12:12 Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This [is] his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive.

  • GEN_12:13 Say, I pray thee, thou [art] my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee.

  • GEN_12:14 And it came to pass, that, when Abram was come into Egypt, the Egyptians beheld the woman that she [was] very fair.

  • GEN_12:15 The princes also of Pharaoh saw her, and commended her before Pharaoh: and the woman was taken into Pharaoh's house.

  • GEN_12:16 And he entreated Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep, and oxen, and he asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and she asses, and camels.

  • GEN_12:17 And the LORD plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai Abram's wife.

  • GEN_12:18 And Pharaoh called Abram, and said, What [is] this [that] thou hast done unto me? why didst thou not tell me that she [was] thy wife?

  • GEN_12:19 Why saidst thou, She [is] my sister? so I might have taken her to me to wife: now therefore behold thy wife, take [her], and go thy way.

  • GEN_12:20 And Pharaoh commanded [his] men concerning him: and they sent him away, and his wife, and all that he had.

  • GEN_13:1 And Abram went up out of Egypt, he, and his wife, and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the south.

  • GEN_13:2 And Abram [was] very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.

  • GEN_13:3 And he went on his journeys from the south even to Bethel, unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Hai;

  • GEN_13:4 Unto the place of the altar, which he had made there at the first: and there Abram called on the name of the LORD.

  • GEN_13:5 And Lot also, which went with Abram, had flocks, and herds, and tents.

  • GEN_13:6 And the land was not able to bear them, that they might dwell together: for their substance was great, so that they could not dwell together.

  • GEN_13:7 And there was a strife between the herdmen of Abram's cattle and the herdmen of Lot's cattle: and the Canaanite and the Perizzite dwelled then in the land.

  • GEN_13:8 And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we [be] brethren.

  • GEN_13:9 [Is] not the whole land before thee? separate thyself, I pray thee, from me: if [thou wilt take] the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if [thou depart] to the right hand, then I will go to the left.

  • GEN_13:10 And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it [was] well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, [even] as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar.

  • GEN_13:11 Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated themselves the one from the other.

  • GEN_13:12 Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched [his] tent toward Sodom.

  • GEN_13:13 But the men of Sodom [were] wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.

  • GEN_13:14 And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:

  • MAT_4:22 And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him.

  • MAT_4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

  • MAT_4:24 And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatic, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

  • MAT_4:25 And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and [from] Decapolis, and [from] Jerusalem, and [from] Judaea, and [from] beyond Jordan.

  • MAT_5:1 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:

  • MAT_5:2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

  • MAT_5:3 Blessed [are] the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

  • MAT_5:4 Blessed [are] they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

  • MAT_5:5 Blessed [are] the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

  • MAT_5:7 Blessed [are] the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

  • MAT_5:8 Blessed [are] the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

  • MAT_5:9 Blessed [are] the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

  • MAT_5:10 Blessed [are] they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

  • MAT_5:11 Blessed are ye, when [men] shall revile you, and persecute [you], and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

  • MAT_5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great [is] your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

  • MAT_5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

  • MAT_5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

  • MAT_5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

  • MAT_5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

  • MAT_5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

  • MAT_5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

  • MAT_5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

  • PSA_4:2 O ye sons of men, how long [will ye turn] my glory into shame? [how long] will ye love vanity, [and] seek after leasing? Selah.

  • PSA_4:3 But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.

  • PSA_4:4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.

  • PSA_4:6 [There be] many that say, Who will show us [any] good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.

  • PSA_4:7 Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time [that] their corn and their wine increased.

  • PRO_1:11 If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause:

  • PRO_1:12 Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit:

  • MATJ_5:21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

  • MATJ_5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

  • MATJ_5:23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;

  • MATJ_5:24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
