  • JER_22:15 Shalt thou reign, because thou closest [thyself] in cedar? did not thy father eat and drink, and do judgment and justice, [and] then [it was] well with him?

  • JER_22:16 He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then [it was] well [with him: was] not this to know me? saith the LORD.

  • JER_22:17 But thine eyes and thine heart [are] not but for thy covetousness, and for to shed innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do [it].

  • JER_22:18 Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament for him, [saying], Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! they shall not lament for him, [saying], Ah lord! or, Ah his glory!

  • JER_22:19 He shall be buried with the burial of an ass, drawn and cast forth beyond the gates of Jerusalem.

  • JER_22:20 Go up to Lebanon, and cry; and lift up thy voice in Bashan, and cry from the passages: for all thy lovers are destroyed.

  • JER_22:21 I spake unto thee in thy prosperity; [but] thou saidst, I will not hear. This [hath been] thy manner from thy youth, that thou obeyedst not my voice.

  • JER_22:22 The wind shall eat up all thy pastors, and thy lovers shall go into captivity: surely then shalt thou be ashamed and confounded for all thy wickedness.

  • JER_22:23 O inhabitant of Lebanon, that makest thy nest in the cedars, how gracious shalt thou be when pangs come upon thee, the pain as of a woman in travail!

  • JER_22:24 [As] I live, saith the LORD, though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet upon my right hand, yet would I pluck thee thence;

  • JER_22:25 And I will give thee into the hand of them that seek thy life, and into the hand [of them] whose face thou fearest, even into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of the Chaldeans.

  • JER_22:26 And I will cast thee out, and thy mother that bare thee, into another country, where ye were not born; and there shall ye die.

  • JER_22:27 But to the land whereunto they desire to return, thither shall they not return.

  • JER_22:28 [Is] this man Coniah a despised broken idol? [is he] a vessel wherein [is] no pleasure? wherefore are they cast out, he and his seed, and are cast into a land which they know not?

  • JER_22:29 O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD.

  • JER_22:30 Thus saith the LORD, Write ye this man childless, a man [that] shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah.

  • JER_23:1 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.

  • JER_23:2 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.

  • JER_23:3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.

  • JER_23:4 And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.

  • JER_23:5 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.

  • JER_23:6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this [is] his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

  • JER_23:7 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

  • JER_23:8 But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.

  • JER_23:9 Mine heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome, because of the LORD, and because of the words of his holiness.

  • JER_23:10 For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourneth; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their course is evil, and their force [is] not right.

  • JER_23:11 For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, saith the LORD.

  • JER_23:12 Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery [ways] in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them, [even] the year of their visitation, saith the LORD.

  • JER_23:13 And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied in Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.

  • JER_23:14 I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.

  • JER_23:15 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land.

  • JER_23:16 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, [and] not out of the mouth of the LORD.

  • JER_23:17 They say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.

  • JER_23:18 For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard [it]?

  • JER_23:19 Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.

  • JER_23:20 The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.

  • JER_23:21 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.

  • JER_23:22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

  • JER_23:23 [Am] I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?

  • JER_23:24 Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.

  • JER_23:25 I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.

  • JER_23:26 How long shall [this] be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, [they are] prophets of the deceit of their own heart;

  • JER_23:27 Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.

  • JER_23:28 The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What [is] the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.

  • JER_23:29 [Is] not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer [that] breaketh the rock in pieces?

  • JER_23:30 Therefore, behold, I [am] against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.

  • JER_23:31 Behold, I [am] against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.

  • JER_23:32 Behold, I [am] against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.

  • JER_23:33 And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying, What [is] the burden of the LORD? thou shalt then say unto them, What burden? I will even forsake you, saith the LORD.

  • JER_23:34 And [as for] the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall say, The burden of the LORD, I will even punish that man and his house.

  • JER_23:35 Thus shall ye say every one to his neighbour, and every one to his brother, What hath the LORD answered? and, What hath the LORD spoken?

  • PHP_3:5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, [of] the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;

  • PHP_3:6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.

  • PHP_3:7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

  • PHP_3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things [but] loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them [but] dung, that I may win Christ,

  • PHP_3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

  • PHP_3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

  • PHP_3:11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

  • PHP_3:12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

  • PHP_3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one thing [I do], forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

  • PHP_3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

  • PHP_3:15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

  • PHP_3:16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

  • PHP_3:17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.

  • PHP_3:18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, [that they are] the enemies of the cross of Christ:

  • PHP_3:19 Whose end [is] destruction, whose God [is their] belly, and [whose] glory [is] in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

  • PHP_3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ:

  • PHP_3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

  • PHP_4:1 Therefore, my brethren, dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, [my] dearly beloved.

  • PHP_4:2 I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.

  • PHP_4:3 And I entreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and [with] other my fellowlabourers, whose names [are] in the book of life.

  • PHP_4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: [and] again I say, Rejoice.

  • PHP_4:5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord [is] at hand.

  • PHP_4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

  • PSA_118:1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for [he is] good: because his mercy [endureth] for ever.

  • PSA_118:2 Let Israel now say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.

  • PSA_118:3 Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.

  • PSA_118:4 Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.

  • PSA_118:5 I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, [and set me] in a large place.

  • PSA_118:6 The LORD [is] on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

  • PSA_118:7 The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see [my desire] upon them that hate me.

  • PSA_118:8 [It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

  • PRO_25:19 Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble [is like] a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint.

  • PRO_25:20 [As] he that taketh away a garment in cold weather, [and as] vinegar upon nitre, so [is] he that singeth songs to an heavy heart.

  • JOHJ_6:27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

  • JOHJ_6:29 This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

  • JOHJ_6:32 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.

  • JOHJ_6:33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

  • JOHJ_6:35 I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
