EXO_21:33 And if a man shall open a pit, or if a man shall dig a pit, and not cover it, and an ox or an ass fall therein; EXO_21:34 The owner of the pit shall make [it] good, [and] give money unto the owner of them; and the dead [beast] shall be his. EXO_22:2 If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, [there shall] no blood [be shed] for him. EXO_22:3 If the sun be risen upon him, [there shall be] blood [shed] for him; [for] he should make full restitution; if he have nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft. EXO_22:4 If the theft be certainly found in his hand alive, whether it be ox, or ass, or sheep; he shall restore double. EXO_22:7 If a man shall deliver unto his neighbour money or stuff to keep, and it be stolen out of the man's house; if the thief be found, let him pay double. EXO_22:8 If the thief be not found, then the master of the house shall be brought unto the judges, [to see] whether he have put his hand unto his neighbour's goods. EXO_22:9 For all manner of trespass, [whether it be] for ox, for ass, for sheep, for raiment, [or] for any manner of lost thing, which [another] challengeth to be his, the cause of both parties shall come before the judges; [and] whom the judges shall condemn, he shall pay double unto his neighbour. EXO_22:12 And if it be stolen from him, he shall make restitution unto the owner thereof. EXO_22:13 If it be torn in pieces, [then] let him bring it [for] witness, [and] he shall not make good that which was torn. EXO_22:14 And if a man borrow [ought] of his neighbour, and it be hurt, or die, the owner thereof [being] not with it, he shall surely make [it] good. EXO_22:15 [But] if the owner thereof [be] with it, he shall not make [it] good: if it [be] an hired [thing], it came for his hire. EXO_22:16 And if a man entice a maid that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her to be his wife. EXO_22:17 If her father utterly refuse to give her unto him, he shall pay money according to the dowry of virgins. EXO_22:18 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live. EXO_22:19 Whosoever lieth with a beast shall surely be put to death. EXO_22:20 He that sacrificeth unto [any] god, save unto the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed. EXO_22:21 Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt. EXO_22:22 Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child. EXO_22:23 If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry; EXO_22:24 And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless. EXO_22:25 If thou lend money to [any of] my people [that is] poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury. EXO_22:26 If thou at all take thy neighbour's raiment to pledge, thou shalt deliver it unto him by that the sun goeth down: EXO_22:27 For that [is] his covering only, it [is] his raiment for his skin: wherein shall he sleep? and it shall come to pass, when he crieth unto me, that I will hear; for I [am] gracious. EXO_22:28 Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people. EXO_22:29 Thou shalt not delay [to offer] the first of thy ripe fruits, and of thy liquors: the firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give unto me. EXO_22:30 Likewise shalt thou do with thine oxen, [and] with thy sheep: seven days it shall be with his dam; on the eighth day thou shalt give it me. EXO_22:31 And ye shall be holy men unto me: neither shall ye eat [any] flesh [that is] torn of beasts in the field; ye shall cast it to the dogs. EXO_23:1 Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness. EXO_23:2 Thou shalt not follow a multitude to [do] evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest [judgment]: EXO_23:3 Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause. EXO_23:4 If thou meet thine enemy's ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again. EXO_23:5 If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him. EXO_23:6 Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of thy poor in his cause. EXO_23:7 Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked. EXO_23:8 And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous. EXO_23:9 Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt. EXO_23:10 And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof: MAT_22:23 The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him, MAT_22:24 Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. MAT_22:25 Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother: MAT_22:26 Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh. MAT_22:27 And last of all the woman died also. MAT_22:28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her. MAT_22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. MAT_22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. MAT_22:31 But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, MAT_22:32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. MAT_22:33 And when the multitude heard [this], they were astonished at his doctrine. MAT_22:34 But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together. MAT_22:35 Then one of them, [which was] a lawyer, asked [him a question], tempting him, and saying, MAT_22:36 Master, which [is] the great commandment in the law? MAT_22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. MAT_22:38 This is the first and great commandment. MAT_22:39 And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. MAT_22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. MAT_22:41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, MAT_22:42 Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, [The son] of David. MAT_22:43 He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, MAT_22:44 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool? MAT_22:45 If David then call him Lord, how is he his son? MAT_22:46 And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any [man] from that day forth ask him any more [questions]. MAT_23:1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, MAT_23:2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: MAT_23:3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, [that] observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. MAT_23:4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay [them] on men's shoulders; but they [themselves] will not move them with one of their fingers. PSA_18:44 As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me. PSA_18:45 The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places. PSA_18:46 The LORD liveth; and blessed [be] my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted. PSA_18:47 [It is] God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me. PSA_18:48 He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man. PSA_18:49 Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name. PSA_18:50 Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and showeth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore. PRO_4:6 Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. PRO_4:7 Wisdom [is] the principal thing; [therefore] get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. MATJ_11:21 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. MATJ_11:22 But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you. MATJ_11:23 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. MATJ_11:24 But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.
