MAT_23:27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead [men's] bones, and of all uncleanness. MAT_23:28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. MAT_23:29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, MAT_23:30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. MAT_23:31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. MAT_23:32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. MAT_23:33 [Ye] serpents, [ye] generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? MAT_23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and [some] of them ye shall kill and crucify; and [some] of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute [them] from city to city: MAT_23:35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. MAT_23:36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation. MAT_23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, [thou] that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under [her] wings, and ye would not! MAT_23:38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. MAT_23:39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed [is] he that cometh in the name of the Lord. MAT_24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to [him] for to shew him the buildings of the temple. MAT_24:2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. MAT_24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what [shall be] the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? MAT_24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. MAT_24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. MAT_24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet. MAT_24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. PSA_19:7 The law of the LORD [is] perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD [is] sure, making wise the simple. PSA_19:8 The statutes of the LORD [are] right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD [is] pure, enlightening the eyes. PSA_19:9 The fear of the LORD [is] clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD [are] true [and] righteous altogether. PSA_19:10 More to be desired [are they] than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. PSA_19:11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: [and] in keeping of them [there is] great reward. PSA_19:12 Who can understand [his] errors? cleanse thou me from secret [faults]. PRO_4:10 Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many. PRO_4:11 I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths. PRO_4:12 When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble. MATJ_11:30 For my yoke [is] easy, and my burden is light. MATJ_12:3 Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him; MATJ_12:4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the showbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests? MATJ_12:5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless? MATJ_12:6 But I say unto you, That in this place is [one] greater than the temple. MATJ_12:7 But if ye had known what [this] meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.
