Daily Devotional 1 Year Bible NEH_3:7 And next unto them repaired Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, unto the throne of the governor on this side the river. NEH_3:8 Next unto him repaired Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, of the goldsmiths. Next unto him also repaired Hananiah the son of [one of] the apothecaries, and they fortified Jerusalem unto the broad wall. NEH_3:9 And next unto them repaired Rephaiah the son of Hur, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem. NEH_3:10 And next unto them repaired Jedaiah the son of Harumaph, even over against his house. And next unto him repaired Hattush the son of Hashabniah. NEH_3:11 Malchijah the son of Harim, and Hashub the son of Pahathmoab, repaired the other piece, and the tower of the furnaces. NEH_3:12 And next unto him repaired Shallum the son of Halohesh, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem, he and his daughters. NEH_3:13 The valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and a thousand cubits on the wall unto the dung gate. NEH_3:14 But the dung gate repaired Malchiah the son of Rechab, the ruler of part of Bethhaccerem; he built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof. NEH_3:15 But the gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of part of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and the wall of the pool of Siloah by the king's garden, and unto the stairs that go down from the city of David. NEH_3:16 After him repaired Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, the ruler of the half part of Bethzur, unto [the place] over against the sepulchres of David, and to the pool that was made, and unto the house of the mighty. NEH_3:17 After him repaired the Levites, Rehum the son of Bani. Next unto him repaired Hashabiah, the ruler of the half part of Keilah, in his part. NEH_3:18 After him repaired their brethren, Bavai the son of Henadad, the ruler of the half part of Keilah. NEH_3:19 And next to him repaired Ezer the son of Jeshua, the ruler of Mizpah, another piece over against the going up to the armoury at the turning [of the wall]. NEH_3:20 After him Baruch the son of Zabbai earnestly repaired the other piece, from the turning [of the wall] unto the door of the house of Eliashib the high priest. NEH_3:21 After him repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah the son of Koz another piece, from the door of the house of Eliashib even to the end of the house of Eliashib. NEH_3:22 And after him repaired the priests, the men of the plain. NEH_3:23 After him repaired Benjamin and Hashub over against their house. After him repaired Azariah the son of Maaseiah the son of Ananiah by his house. NEH_3:24 After him repaired Binnui the son of Henadad another piece, from the house of Azariah unto the turning [of the wall], even unto the corner. NEH_3:25 Palal the son of Uzai, over against the turning [of the wall], and the tower which lieth out from the king's high house, that [was] by the court of the prison. After him Pedaiah the son of Parosh. NEH_3:26 Moreover the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel, unto [the place] over against the water gate toward the east, and the tower that lieth out. NEH_3:27 After them the Tekoites repaired another piece, over against the great tower that lieth out, even unto the wall of Ophel. NEH_3:28 From above the horse gate repaired the priests, every one over against his house. NEH_3:29 After them repaired Zadok the son of Immer over against his house. After him repaired also Shemaiah the son of Shechaniah, the keeper of the east gate. NEH_3:30 After him repaired Hananiah the son of Shelemiah, and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph, another piece. After him repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah over against his chamber. NEH_3:31 After him repaired Malchiah the goldsmith's son unto the place of the Nethinims, and of the merchants, over against the gate Miphkad, and to the going up of the corner. NEH_3:32 And between the going up of the corner unto the sheep gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants. NEH_4:1 But it came to pass, that when Sanballat heard that we builded the wall, he was wroth, and took great indignation, and mocked the Jews. NEH_4:2 And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned? NEH_4:3 Now Tobiah the Ammonite [was] by him, and he said, Even that which they build, if a fox go up, he shall even break down their stone wall. NEH_4:4 Hear, O our God; for we are despised: and turn their reproach upon their own head, and give them for a prey in the land of captivity: NEH_4:5 And cover not their iniquity, and let not their sin be blotted out from before thee: for they have provoked [thee] to anger before the builders. NEH_4:6 So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work. NEH_4:7 But it came to pass, [that] when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and the Arabians, and the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites, heard that the walls of Jerusalem were made up, [and] that the breaches began to be stopped, then they were very wroth, NEH_4:8 And conspired all of them together to come [and] to fight against Jerusalem, and to hinder it. NEH_4:9 Nevertheless we made our prayer unto our God, and set a watch against them day and night, because of them. NEH_4:10 And Judah said, The strength of the bearers of burdens is decayed, and [there is] much rubbish; so that we are not able to build the wall. NEH_4:11 And our adversaries said, They shall not know, neither see, till we come in the midst among them, and slay them, and cause the work to cease. NEH_4:12 And it came to pass, that when the Jews which dwelt by them came, they said unto us ten times, From all places whence ye shall return unto us [they will be upon you]. NEH_4:13 Therefore set I in the lower places behind the wall, [and] on the higher places, I even set the people after their families with their swords, their spears, and their bows. NEH_4:14 And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, [which is] great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses. NEH_4:15 And it came to pass, when our enemies heard that it was known unto us, and God had brought their counsel to nought, that we returned all of us to the wall, every one unto his work. NEH_4:16 And it came to pass from that time forth, [that] the half of my servants wrought in the work, and the other half of them held both the spears, the shields, and the bows, and the habergeons; and the rulers [were] behind all the house of Judah. NEH_4:17 They which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, [every one] with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other [hand] held a weapon. NEH_4:18 For the builders, every one had his sword girded by his side, and [so] builded. And he that sounded the trumpet [was] by me. NEH_4:19 And I said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, The work [is] great and large, and we are separated upon the wall, one far from another. NEH_4:20 In what place [therefore] ye hear the sound of the trumpet, resort ye thither unto us: our God shall fight for us. NEH_4:21 So we laboured in the work: and half of them held the spears from the rising of the morning till the stars appeared. NEH_4:22 Likewise at the same time said I unto the people, Let every one with his servant lodge within Jerusalem, that in the night they may be a guard to us, and labour on the day. NEH_4:23 So neither I, nor my brethren, nor my servants, nor the men of the guard which followed me, none of us put off our clothes, [saving that] every one put them off for washing. NEH_5:1 And there was a great cry of the people and of their wives against their brethren the Jews. NEH_5:2 For there were that said, We, our sons, and our daughters, [are] many: therefore we take up corn [for them], that we may eat, and live. NEH_5:3 [Some] also there were that said, We have mortgaged our lands, vineyards, and houses, that we might buy corn, because of the dearth. NEH_5:4 There were also that said, We have borrowed money for the king's tribute, [and that upon] our lands and vineyards. ROM_3:6 God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world? ROM_3:7 For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner? ROM_3:8 And not [rather], (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just. ROM_3:9 What then? are we better [than they]? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; ROM_3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: ROM_3:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. ROM_3:12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. ROM_3:13 Their throat [is] an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps [is] under their lips: ROM_3:14 Whose mouth [is] full of cursing and bitterness: ROM_3:15 Their feet [are] swift to shed blood: ROM_3:16 Destruction and misery [are] in their ways: ROM_3:17 And the way of peace have they not known: ROM_3:18 There is no fear of God before their eyes. ROM_3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. ROM_3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law [is] the knowledge of sin. ROM_3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; ROM_3:22 Even the righteousness of God [which is] by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: ROM_3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; ROM_3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: ROM_3:25 Whom God hath set forth [to be] a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; ROM_3:26 To declare, [I say], at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. ROM_3:27 Where [is] boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. ROM_3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. ROM_3:29 [Is he] the God of the Jews only? [is he] not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also: ROM_3:30 Seeing [it is] one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. ROM_3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. PSA_92:2 To show forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, PSA_92:3 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound. PSA_92:4 For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands. PSA_92:5 O LORD, how great are thy works! [and] thy thoughts are very deep. PSA_92:6 A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this. PSA_92:7 When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; [it is] that they shall be destroyed for ever: PSA_92:8 But thou, LORD, [art most] high for evermore. PSA_92:9 For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered. PRO_20:25 [It is] a snare to the man [who] devoureth [that which is] holy, and after vows to make inquiry. PRO_20:26 A wise king scattereth the wicked, and bringeth the wheel over them. PRO_20:27 The spirit of man [is] the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly. LUKJ_14:22 And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room. LUKJ_14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel [them] to come in, that my house may be filled. LUKJ_14:24 For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper. LUKJ_14:26 If any [man] come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. LUKJ_14:27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
