Daily Devotional 1 Year Bible

JOB_16:20 My friends scorn me: [but] mine eye poureth out [tears] unto God.

JOB_16:21 O that one might plead for a man with God, as a man [pleadeth] for his neighbour!

JOB_16:22 When a few years are come, then I shall go the way [whence] I shall not return.

JOB_17:1 My breath is corrupt, my days are extinct, the graves [are ready] for me.

JOB_17:2 [Are there] not mockers with me? and doth not mine eye continue in their provocation?

JOB_17:3 Lay down now, put me in a surety with thee; who [is] he [that] will strike hands with me?

JOB_17:4 For thou hast hid their heart from understanding: therefore shalt thou not exalt [them].

JOB_17:5 He that speaketh flattery to [his] friends, even the eyes of his children shall fail.

JOB_17:6 He hath made me also a byword of the people; and aforetime I was as a tabret.

JOB_17:7 Mine eye also is dim by reason of sorrow, and all my members [are] as a shadow.

JOB_17:8 Upright [men] shall be astonied at this, and the innocent shall stir up himself against the hypocrite.

JOB_17:9 The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.

JOB_17:10 But as for you all, do ye return, and come now: for I cannot find [one] wise [man] among you.

JOB_17:11 My days are past, my purposes are broken off, [even] the thoughts of my heart.

JOB_17:12 They change the night into day: the light [is] short because of darkness.

JOB_17:13 If I wait, the grave [is] mine house: I have made my bed in the darkness.

JOB_17:14 I have said to corruption, Thou [art] my father: to the worm, [Thou art] my mother, and my sister.

JOB_17:15 And where [is] now my hope? as for my hope, who shall see it?

JOB_17:16 They shall go down to the bars of the pit, when [our] rest together [is] in the dust.

JOB_18:1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,

JOB_18:2 How long [will it be ere] ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak.

JOB_18:3 Wherefore are we counted as beasts, [and] reputed vile in your sight?

JOB_18:4 He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of his place?

JOB_18:5 Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.

JOB_18:6 The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.

JOB_18:7 The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.

JOB_18:8 For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.

JOB_18:9 The gin shall take [him] by the heel, [and] the robber shall prevail against him.

JOB_18:10 The snare [is] laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.

JOB_18:11 Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet.

JOB_18:12 His strength shall be hungerbitten, and destruction [shall be] ready at his side.

JOB_18:13 It shall devour the strength of his skin: [even] the firstborn of death shall devour his strength.

JOB_18:14 His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors.

JOB_18:15 It shall dwell in his tabernacle, because [it is] none of his: brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation.

JOB_18:16 His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off.

JOB_18:17 His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.

JOB_18:18 He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.

JOB_18:19 He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings.

JOB_18:20 They that come after [him] shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted.

JOB_18:21 Surely such [are] the dwellings of the wicked, and this [is] the place [of him that] knoweth not God.

JOB_19:1 Then Job answered and said,

JOB_19:2 How long will ye vex my soul, and break me in pieces with words?

JOB_19:3 These ten times have ye reproached me: ye are not ashamed [that] ye make yourselves strange to me.

JOB_19:4 And be it indeed [that] I have erred, mine error remaineth with myself.

JOB_19:5 If indeed ye will magnify [yourselves] against me, and plead against me my reproach:

JOB_19:6 Know now that God hath overthrown me, and hath compassed me with his net.

JOB_19:7 Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry aloud, but [there is] no judgment.

JOB_19:8 He hath fenced up my way that I cannot pass, and he hath set darkness in my paths.

JOB_19:9 He hath stripped me of my glory, and taken the crown [from] my head.

JOB_19:10 He hath destroyed me on every side, and I am gone: and mine hope hath he removed like a tree.

JOB_19:11 He hath also kindled his wrath against me, and he counteth me unto him as [one of] his enemies.

JOB_19:12 His troops come together, and raise up their way against me, and encamp round about my tabernacle.

JOB_19:13 He hath put my brethren far from me, and mine acquaintance are verily estranged from me.

JOB_19:14 My kinsfolk have failed, and my familiar friends have forgotten me.

JOB_19:15 They that dwell in mine house, and my maids, count me for a stranger: I am an alien in their sight.

JOB_19:16 I called my servant, and he gave [me] no answer; I entreated him with my mouth.

JOB_19:17 My breath is strange to my wife, though I entreated for the children's [sake] of mine own body.

JOB_19:18 Yea, young children despised me; I arose, and they spake against me.

JOB_19:19 All my inward friends abhorred me: and they whom I loved are turned against me.

JOB_19:20 My bone cleaveth to my skin and to my flesh, and I am escaped with the skin of my teeth.

JOB_19:21 Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O ye my friends; for the hand of God hath touched me.

JOB_19:22 Why do ye persecute me as God, and are not satisfied with my flesh?

JOB_19:23 Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book!

JOB_19:24 That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!

JOB_19:25 For I know [that] my redeemer liveth, and [that] he shall stand at the latter [day] upon the earth:

JOB_19:26 And [though] after my skin [worms] destroy this [body], yet in my flesh shall I see God:

JOB_19:27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; [though] my reins be consumed within me.

JOB_19:28 But ye should say, Why persecute we him, seeing the root of the matter is found in me?

JOB_19:29 Be ye afraid of the sword: for wrath [bringeth] the punishments of the sword, that ye may know [there is] a judgment.

JOB_20:1 Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said,

JOB_20:2 Therefore do my thoughts cause me to answer, and for [this] I make haste.

JOB_20:3 I have heard the check of my reproach, and the spirit of my understanding causeth me to answer.

JOB_20:4 Knowest thou [not] this of old, since man was placed upon earth,

JOB_20:5 That the triumphing of the wicked [is] short, and the joy of the hypocrite [but] for a moment?

 JOB_20:6 Though his excellency mount up to the heavens, and his head reach unto the clouds;

JOB_20:7 [Yet] he shall perish for ever like his own dung: they which have seen him shall say, Where [is] he?

JOB_20:8 He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found: yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night.

JOB_20:9 The eye also [which] saw him shall [see him] no more; neither shall his place any more behold him.

JOB_20:10 His children shall seek to please the poor, and his hands shall restore their goods.

JOB_20:11 His bones are full [of the sin] of his youth, which shall lie down with him in the dust.

 JOB_20:12 Though wickedness be sweet in his mouth, [though] he hide it under his tongue;

JOB_20:13 [Though] he spare it, and forsake it not; but keep it still within his mouth:

JOB_20:14 [Yet] his meat in his bowels is turned, [it is] the gall of asps within him.

JOB_20:15 He hath swallowed down riches, and he shall vomit them up again: God shall cast them out of his belly.

JOB_20:16 He shall suck the poison of asps: the viper's tongue shall slay him.

JOB_20:17 He shall not see the rivers, the floods, the brooks of honey and butter.

JOB_20:18 That which he laboured for shall he restore, and shall not swallow [it] down: according to [his] substance [shall] the restitution [be], and he shall not rejoice [therein].

ROM_15:20 Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation:

ROM_15:21 But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand.

ROM_15:22 For which cause also I have been much hindered from coming to you.

 ROM_15:23 But now having no more place in these parts, and having a great desire these many years to come unto you;

ROM_15:24 Whensoever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your [company].

ROM_15:25 But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints.

ROM_15:26 For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem.

ROM_15:27 It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.

ROM_15:28 When therefore I have performed this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will come by you into Spain.

ROM_15:29 And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.

 ROM_15:30 Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in [your] prayers to God for me;

 ROM_15:31 That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that my service which [I have] for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints;

ROM_15:32 That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.

ROM_15:33 Now the God of peace [be] with you all. Amen.

ROM_16:1 I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea:

ROM_16:2 That ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succourer of many, and of myself also.

ROM_16:3 Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus:

ROM_16:4 Who have for my life laid down their own necks: unto whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles.

ROM_16:5 Likewise [greet] the church that is in their house. Salute my wellbeloved Epaenetus, who is the firstfruits of Achaia unto Christ.

ROM_16:6 Greet Mary, who bestowed much labour on us.

ROM_16:7 Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellowprisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.

ROM_16:8 Greet Amplias my beloved in the Lord.

ROM_16:9 Salute Urbane, our helper in Christ, and Stachys my beloved.

PSA_101:5 Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.

PSA_101:6 Mine eyes [shall be] upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.

PSA_101:7 He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.

PSA_101:8 I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the LORD.

PSA_102:1 A Prayer of the afflicted, when he is overwhelmed, and poureth out his complaint before the LORD. Hear my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come unto thee.

PRO_21:31 The horse [is] prepared against the day of battle: but safety [is] of the LORD.

PRO_22:1 A [good] name [is] rather to be chosen than great riches, [and] loving favour rather than silver and gold.

LUKJ_16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

LUKJ_17:1 It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe [unto him], through whom they come!

LUKJ_17:2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

LUKJ_17:3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

LUKJ_17:4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
