ACT_16:10 And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them. ACT_16:11 Therefore loosing from Troas, we came with a straight course to Samothracia, and the next [day] to Neapolis; ACT_16:12 And from thence to Philippi, which is the chief city of that part of Macedonia, [and] a colony: and we were in that city abiding certain days. ACT_16:13 And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted [thither]. ACT_16:14 And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard [us]: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul. ACT_16:15 And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought [us], saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide [there]. And she constrained us. ACT_16:16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: ACT_16:17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. ACT_16:18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour. ACT_16:19 And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew [them] into the marketplace unto the rulers, ACT_16:20 And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city, ACT_16:21 And teach customs, which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, being Romans. ACT_16:22 And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat [them]. ACT_16:23 And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast [them] into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely: ACT_16:24 Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks. ACT_16:25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. ACT_16:26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. ACT_16:27 And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. PSA_82:1 A Psalm of Asaph. God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods. PSA_82:2 How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah. PSA_82:3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. PSA_82:4 Deliver the poor and needy: rid [them] out of the hand of the wicked. PSA_82:5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. PSA_82:6 I have said, Ye [are] gods; and all of you [are] children of the most High. PSA_82:7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes. PSA_82:8 Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations. PRO_18:20 A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; [and] with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. PRO_18:21 Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. LUKJ_11:19 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast [them] out? therefore shall they be your judges. LUKJ_11:20 But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you. LUKJ_11:21 When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: LUKJ_11:22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils. LUKJ_11:23 He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth. LUKJ_11:24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.
