JOB_23:14 For he performeth [the thing that is] appointed for me: and many such [things are] with him. JOB_23:15 Therefore am I troubled at his presence: when I consider, I am afraid of him. JOB_23:16 For God maketh my heart soft, and the Almighty troubleth me: JOB_23:17 Because I was not cut off before the darkness, [neither] hath he covered the darkness from my face. JOB_24:1 Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days? JOB_24:2 [Some] remove the landmarks; they violently take away flocks, and feed [thereof]. JOB_24:3 They drive away the ass of the fatherless, they take the widow's ox for a pledge. JOB_24:4 They turn the needy out of the way: the poor of the earth hide themselves together. JOB_24:5 Behold, [as] wild asses in the desert, go they forth to their work; rising betimes for a prey: the wilderness [yieldeth] food for them [and] for [their] children. JOB_24:6 They reap [every one] his corn in the field: and they gather the vintage of the wicked. JOB_24:7 They cause the naked to lodge without clothing, that [they have] no covering in the cold. JOB_24:12 Men groan from out of the city, and the soul of the wounded crieth out: yet God layeth not folly [to them]. JOB_24:15 The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguiseth [his] face. JOB_24:16 In the dark they dig through houses, [which] they had marked for themselves in the daytime: they know not the light. JOB_24:17 For the morning [is] to them even as the shadow of death: if [one] know [them, they are in] the terrors of the shadow of death. JOB_24:18 He [is] swift as the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth: he beholdeth not the way of the vineyards. JOB_24:19 Drought and heat consume the snow waters: [so doth] the grave [those which] have sinned. JOB_24:20 The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree. JOB_24:21 He evil entreateth the barren [that] beareth not: and doeth not good to the widow. JOB_24:22 He draweth also the mighty with his power: he riseth up, and no [man] is sure of life. JOB_24:23 [Though] it be given him [to be] in safety, whereon he resteth; yet his eyes [are] upon their ways. JOB_24:24 They are exalted for a little while, but are gone and brought low; they are taken out of the way as all [other], and cut off as the tops of the ears of corn. JOB_24:25 And if [it be] not [so] now, who will make me a liar, and make my speech nothing worth? JOB_25:1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said, JOB_25:2 Dominion and fear [are] with him, he maketh peace in his high places. JOB_25:3 Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise? JOB_25:4 How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean [that is] born of a woman? JOB_25:5 Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight. JOB_25:6 How much less man, [that is] a worm? and the son of man, [which is] a worm? JOB_26:1 But Job answered and said, JOB_26:2 How hast thou helped [him that is] without power? [how] savest thou the arm [that hath] no strength? JOB_26:3 How hast thou counselled [him that hath] no wisdom? and [how] hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is? JOB_26:4 To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee? JOB_26:5 Dead [things] are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof. JOB_26:6 Hell [is] naked before him, and destruction hath no covering. JOB_26:7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, [and] hangeth the earth upon nothing. JOB_26:8 He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them. JOB_26:9 He holdeth back the face of his throne, [and] spreadeth his cloud upon it. JOB_26:10 He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end. JOB_26:11 The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof. JOB_26:12 He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud. JOB_26:13 By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent. JOB_26:14 Lo, these [are] parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand? JOB_27:1 Moreover Job continued his parable, and said, JOB_27:2 [As] God liveth, [who] hath taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, [who] hath vexed my soul; JOB_27:3 All the while my breath [is] in me, and the spirit of God [is] in my nostrils; JOB_27:4 My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit. JOB_27:5 God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me. JOB_27:6 My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach [me] so long as I live. JOB_27:7 Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous. JOB_27:8 For what [is] the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul? JOB_27:9 Will God hear his cry when trouble cometh upon him? JOB_27:10 Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God? JOB_27:11 I will teach you by the hand of God: [that] which [is] with the Almighty will I not conceal. JOB_27:12 Behold, all ye yourselves have seen [it]; why then are ye thus altogether vain? JOB_27:13 This [is] the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, [which] they shall receive of the Almighty. JOB_27:14 If his children be multiplied, [it is] for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread. JOB_27:15 Those that remain of him shall be buried in death: and his widows shall not weep. JOB_27:16 Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay; JOB_27:17 He may prepare [it], but the just shall put [it] on, and the innocent shall divide the silver. JOB_27:18 He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth [that] the keeper maketh. JOB_27:19 The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he [is] not. JOB_27:20 Terrors take hold on him as waters, a tempest stealeth him away in the night. JOB_27:21 The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth: and as a storm hurleth him out of his place. JOB_27:22 For [God] shall cast upon him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand. JOB_27:23 [Men] shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place. JOB_28:1 Surely there is a vein for the silver, and a place for gold [where] they fine [it]. JOB_28:2 Iron is taken out of the earth, and brass [is] molten [out of] the stone. JOB_28:3 He setteth an end to darkness, and searcheth out all perfection: the stones of darkness, and the shadow of death. JOB_28:4 The flood breaketh out from the inhabitant; [even the waters] forgotten of the foot: they are dried up, they are gone away from men. JOB_28:5 [As for] the earth, out of it cometh bread: and under it is turned up as it were fire. JOB_28:6 The stones of it [are] the place of sapphires: and it hath dust of gold. JOB_28:7 [There is] a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture's eye hath not seen: JOB_28:8 The lion's whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it. JOB_28:9 He putteth forth his hand upon the rock; he overturneth the mountains by the roots. 1CO_1:6 Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: 1CO_1:7 So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: 1CO_1:8 Who shall also confirm you unto the end, [that ye may be] blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1CO_1:9 God [is] faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. 1CO_1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and [that] there be no divisions among you; but [that] ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 1CO_1:11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them [which are of the house] of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. 1CO_1:12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. 1CO_1:13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? 1CO_1:14 I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius; 1CO_1:15 Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name. 1CO_1:16 And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other. 1CO_1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. 1CO_1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 1CO_1:19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 1CO_1:20 Where [is] the wise? where [is] the scribe? where [is] the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 1CO_1:21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. 1CO_1:22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: 1CO_1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; 1CO_1:24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 1CO_1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. 1CO_1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, [are called]: 1CO_1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 1CO_1:28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, [yea], and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: PSA_102:10 Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down. PSA_102:11 My days [are] like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass. PSA_102:12 But thou, O LORD, shalt endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations. PSA_102:13 Thou shalt arise, [and] have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. PSA_102:14 For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof. PSA_102:15 So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy glory. PSA_102:16 When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory. PRO_22:5 Thorns [and] snares [are] in the way of the froward: he that doth keep his soul shall be far from them. PRO_22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. LUKJ_17:10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do. LUKJ_17:14 Go show yourselves unto the priests. LUKJ_17:17 Were there not ten cleansed? but where [are] the nine? LUKJ_17:18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. LUKJ_17:19 Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. LUKJ_17:20 The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: LUKJ_17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
