Daily Devotional 1 Year Bible JOB_28:10 He cutteth out rivers among the rocks; and his eye seeth every precious thing. JOB_28:11 He bindeth the floods from overflowing; and [the thing that is] hid bringeth he forth to light. JOB_28:12 But where shall wisdom be found? and where [is] the place of understanding? JOB_28:13 Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living. JOB_28:14 The depth saith, It [is] not in me: and the sea saith, [It is] not with me. JOB_28:15 It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed [for] the price thereof. JOB_28:16 It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire. JOB_28:17 The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: and the exchange of it [shall not be for] jewels of fine gold. JOB_28:18 No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom [is] above rubies. JOB_28:19 The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold. JOB_28:20 Whence then cometh wisdom? and where [is] the place of understanding? JOB_28:21 Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air. JOB_28:22 Destruction and death say, We have heard the fame thereof with our ears. JOB_28:23 God understandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth the place thereof. JOB_28:24 For he looketh to the ends of the earth, [and] seeth under the whole heaven; JOB_28:25 To make the weight for the winds; and he weigheth the waters by measure. JOB_28:26 When he made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder: JOB_28:27 Then did he see it, and declare it; he prepared it, yea, and searched it out. JOB_28:28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that [is] wisdom; and to depart from evil [is] understanding. JOB_29:1 Moreover Job continued his parable, and said, JOB_29:2 Oh that I were as [in] months past, as [in] the days [when] God preserved me; JOB_29:3 When his candle shined upon my head, [and when] by his light I walked [through] darkness; JOB_29:4 As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God [was] upon my tabernacle; JOB_29:5 When the Almighty [was] yet with me, [when] my children [were] about me; JOB_29:6 When I washed my steps with butter, and the rock poured me out rivers of oil; JOB_29:7 When I went out to the gate through the city, [when] I prepared my seat in the street! JOB_29:8 The young men saw me, and hid themselves: and the aged arose, [and] stood up. JOB_29:9 The princes refrained talking, and laid [their] hand on their mouth. JOB_29:10 The nobles held their peace, and their tongue cleaved to the roof of their mouth. JOB_29:11 When the ear heard [me], then it blessed me; and when the eye saw [me], it gave witness to me: JOB_29:12 Because I delivered the poor that cried, and the fatherless, and [him that had] none to help him. JOB_29:13 The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me: and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy. JOB_29:14 I put on righteousness, and it clothed me: my judgment [was] as a robe and a diadem. JOB_29:15 I was eyes to the blind, and feet [was] I to the lame. JOB_29:16 I [was] a father to the poor: and the cause [which] I knew not I searched out. JOB_29:17 And I brake the jaws of the wicked, and plucked the spoil out of his teeth. JOB_29:18 Then I said, I shall die in my nest, and I shall multiply [my] days as the sand. JOB_29:19 My root [was] spread out by the waters, and the dew lay all night upon my branch. JOB_29:20 My glory [was] fresh in me, and my bow was renewed in my hand. JOB_29:21 Unto me [men] gave ear, and waited, and kept silence at my counsel. JOB_29:22 After my words they spake not again; and my speech dropped upon them. JOB_29:23 And they waited for me as for the rain; and they opened their mouth wide [as] for the latter rain. JOB_29:24 [If] I laughed on them, they believed [it] not; and the light of my countenance they cast not down. JOB_29:25 I chose out their way, and sat chief, and dwelt as a king in the army, as one [that] comforteth the mourners. JOB_30:1 But now [they that are] younger than I have me in derision, whose fathers I would have disdained to have set with the dogs of my flock. JOB_30:2 Yea, whereto [might] the strength of their hands [profit] me, in whom old age was perished? JOB_30:3 For want and famine [they were] solitary; fleeing into the wilderness in former time desolate and waste. JOB_30:4 Who cut up mallows by the bushes, and juniper roots [for] their meat. JOB_30:5 They were driven forth from among [men], (they cried after them as [after] a thief;) JOB_30:6 To dwell in the cliffs of the valleys, [in] caves of the earth, and [in] the rocks. JOB_30:7 Among the bushes they brayed; under the nettles they were gathered together. JOB_30:8 [They were] children of fools, yea, children of base men: they were viler than the earth. JOB_30:9 And now am I their song, yea, I am their byword. JOB_30:10 They abhor me, they flee far from me, and spare not to spit in my face. JOB_30:11 Because he hath loosed my cord, and afflicted me, they have also let loose the bridle before me. JOB_30:12 Upon [my] right [hand] rise the youth; they push away my feet, and they raise up against me the ways of their destruction. JOB_30:13 They mar my path, they set forward my calamity, they have no helper. JOB_30:14 They came [upon me] as a wide breaking in [of waters]: in the desolation they rolled themselves [upon me]. JOB_30:15 Terrors are turned upon me: they pursue my soul as the wind: and my welfare passeth away as a cloud. JOB_30:16 And now my soul is poured out upon me; the days of affliction have taken hold upon me. JOB_30:17 My bones are pierced in me in the night season: and my sinews take no rest. JOB_30:18 By the great force [of my disease] is my garment changed: it bindeth me about as the collar of my coat. JOB_30:19 He hath cast me into the mire, and I am become like dust and ashes. JOB_30:20 I cry unto thee, and thou dost not hear me: I stand up, and thou regardest me [not]. JOB_30:21 Thou art become cruel to me: with thy strong hand thou opposest thyself against me. JOB_30:22 Thou liftest me up to the wind; thou causest me to ride [upon it], and dissolvest my substance. JOB_30:23 For I know [that] thou wilt bring me [to] death, and [to] the house appointed for all living. JOB_30:24 Howbeit he will not stretch out [his] hand to the grave, though they cry in his destruction. JOB_30:25 Did not I weep for him that was in trouble? was [not] my soul grieved for the poor? JOB_30:26 When I looked for good, then evil came [unto me]: and when I waited for light, there came darkness. JOB_30:27 My bowels boiled, and rested not: the days of affliction prevented me. JOB_30:28 I went mourning without the sun: I stood up, [and] I cried in the congregation. JOB_30:29 I am a brother to dragons, and a companion to owls. JOB_30:30 My skin is black upon me, and my bones are burned with heat. JOB_30:31 My harp also is [turned] to mourning, and my organ into the voice of them that weep. JOB_31:1 I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid? JOB_31:2 For what portion of God [is there] from above? and [what] inheritance of the Almighty from on high? JOB_31:3 [Is] not destruction to the wicked? and a strange [punishment] to the workers of iniquity? JOB_31:4 Doth not he see my ways, and count all my steps? JOB_31:5 If I have walked with vanity, or if my foot hath hasted to deceit; JOB_31:6 Let me be weighed in an even balance that God may know mine integrity. JOB_31:7 If my step hath turned out of the way, and mine heart walked after mine eyes, and if any blot hath cleaved to mine hands; JOB_31:8 [Then] let me sow, and let another eat; yea, let my offspring be rooted out. JOB_31:9 If mine heart have been deceived by a woman, or [if] I have laid wait at my neighbour's door; JOB_31:10 [Then] let my wife grind unto another, and let others bow down upon her. JOB_31:11 For this [is] an heinous crime; yea, it [is] an iniquity [to be punished by] the judges. JOB_31:12 For it [is] a fire [that] consumeth to destruction, and would root out all mine increase. JOB_31:13 If I did despise the cause of my manservant or of my maidservant, when they contended with me; 1CO_1:29 That no flesh should glory in his presence. 1CO_1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: 1CO_1:31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. 1CO_2:1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. 1CO_2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. 1CO_2:3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. 1CO_2:4 And my speech and my preaching [was] not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: 1CO_2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. 1CO_2:6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: 1CO_2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, [even] the hidden [wisdom], which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 1CO_2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known [it], they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 1CO_2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 1CO_2:10 But God hath revealed [them] unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 1CO_2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 1CO_2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 1CO_2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 1CO_2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned. 1CO_2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 1CO_2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. 1CO_3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, [even] as unto babes in Christ. 1CO_3:2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able [to bear it], neither yet now are ye able. 1CO_3:3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas [there is] among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? PSA_102:17 He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer. PSA_102:18 This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD. PSA_102:19 For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth; PSA_102:20 To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death; PSA_102:21 To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem; PSA_102:22 When the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD. PSA_102:23 He weakened my strength in the way; he shortened my days. PSA_102:24 I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years [are] throughout all generations. PRO_22:7 The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower [is] servant to the lender. PRO_22:8 He that soweth iniquity shall reap vanity: and the rod of his anger shall fail. PRO_22:9 He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor. LUKJ_17:22 The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see [it]. LUKJ_17:23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after [them], nor follow [them]. LUKJ_17:24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one [part] under heaven, shineth unto the other [part] under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day. LUKJ_17:25 But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation. LUKJ_17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. LUKJ_17:27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
