Daily Devotional 1 Year Bible ISA_10:6 I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets. ISA_10:7 Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but [it is] in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few. ISA_10:8 For he saith, [Are] not my princes altogether kings? ISA_10:9 [Is] not Calno as Carchemish? [is] not Hamath as Arpad? [is] not Samaria as Damascus? ISA_10:10 As my hand hath found the kingdoms of the idols, and whose graven images did excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria: ISA_10:11 Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols? ISA_10:12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, [that] when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks. ISA_10:13 For he saith, By the strength of my hand I have done [it], and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant [man]: ISA_10:14 And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathereth eggs [that are] left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped. ISA_10:15 Shall the ax boast itself against him that heweth therewith? [or] shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it? as if the rod should shake [itself] against them that lift it up, [or] as if the staff should lift up [itself, as if it were] no wood. ISA_10:16 Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire. ISA_10:17 And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day; ISA_10:18 And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standardbearer fainteth. ISA_10:19 And the rest of the trees of his forest shall be few, that a child may write them. ISA_10:20 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. ISA_10:21 The remnant shall return, [even] the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God. ISA_10:22 For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, [yet] a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness. ISA_10:23 For the Lord GOD of hosts shall make a consumption, even determined, in the midst of all the land. ISA_10:24 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt. ISA_10:25 For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction. ISA_10:26 And the LORD of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and [as] his rod [was] upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt. ISA_10:27 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. ISA_10:28 He is come to Aiath, he is passed to Migron; at Michmash he hath laid up his carriages: ISA_10:29 They are gone over the passage: they have taken up their lodging at Geba; Ramah is afraid; Gibeah of Saul is fled. ISA_10:30 Lift up thy voice, O daughter of Gallim: cause it to be heard unto Laish, O poor Anathoth. ISA_10:31 Madmenah is removed; the inhabitants of Gebim gather themselves to flee. ISA_10:32 As yet shall he remain at Nob that day: he shall shake his hand [against] the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem. ISA_10:33 Behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, shall lop the bough with terror: and the high ones of stature [shall be] hewn down, and the haughty shall be humbled. ISA_10:34 And he shall cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon shall fall by a mighty one. ISA_11:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: ISA_11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; ISA_11:3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: ISA_11:4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. ISA_11:5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. ISA_11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. ISA_11:7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. ISA_11:8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den. ISA_11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. ISA_11:10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious. ISA_11:11 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. ISA_11:12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. ISA_11:13 The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim. ISA_11:14 But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them. ISA_11:15 And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make [men] go over dryshod. ISA_11:16 And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt. ISA_12:1 And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. ISA_12:2 Behold, God [is] my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH [is] my strength and [my] song; he also is become my salvation. ISA_12:3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. ISA_12:4 And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. ISA_12:5 Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this [is] known in all the earth. ISA_12:6 Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great [is] the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee. ISA_13:1 The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see. ISA_13:2 Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles. ISA_13:3 I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, [even] them that rejoice in my highness. 1CO_14:23 If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in [those that are] unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad? 1CO_14:24 But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or [one] unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all: 1CO_14:25 And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on [his] face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth. 1CO_14:26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying. 1CO_14:27 If any man speak in an [unknown] tongue, [let it be] by two, or at the most [by] three, and [that] by course; and let one interpret. 1CO_14:28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God. 1CO_14:29 Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge. 1CO_14:30 If [any thing] be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace. 1CO_14:31 For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted. 1CO_14:32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. 1CO_14:33 For God is not [the author] of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. 1CO_14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but [they are commanded] to be under obedience, as also saith the law. 1CO_14:35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. 1CO_14:36 What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only? 1CO_14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. 1CO_14:38 But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant. 1CO_14:39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues. 1CO_14:40 Let all things be done decently and in order. 1CO_15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 1CO_15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 1CO_15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1CO_15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1CO_15:5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: PSA_105:38 Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them. PSA_105:39 He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night. PSA_105:40 [The people] asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven. PSA_105:41 He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places [like] a river. PSA_105:42 For he remembered his holy promise, [and] Abraham his servant. PSA_105:43 And he brought forth his people with joy, [and] his chosen with gladness: PSA_105:44 And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people; PSA_105:45 That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the LORD. PRO_23:12 Apply thine heart unto instruction, and thine ears to the words of knowledge. PRO_23:13 Withhold not correction from the child: for [if] thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die. LUKJ_20:15 So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed [him]. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them? LUKJ_20:16 He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. LUKJ_20:17 What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner? LUKJ_20:18 Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. LUKJ_20:23 Why tempt ye me? LUKJ_20:24 Show me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? LUKJ_20:25 Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's.
