  • DEU_33:17 His glory [is like] the firstling of his bullock, and his horns [are like] the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they [are] the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they [are] the thousands of Manasseh.

  • DEU_33:18 And of Zebulun he said, Rejoice, Zebulun, in thy going out; and, Issachar, in thy tents.

  • DEU_33:19 They shall call the people unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness: for they shall suck [of] the abundance of the seas, and [of] treasures hid in the sand.

  • DEU_33:20 And of Gad he said, Blessed [be] he that enlargeth Gad; he dwelleth as a lion, and teareth the arm with the crown of the head.

  • DEU_33:21 And he provided the first part for himself, because there, [in] a portion of the lawgiver, [was he] seated; and he came with the heads of the people, he executed the justice of the LORD, and his judgments with Israel.

  • DEU_33:22 And of Dan he said, Dan [is] a lion's whelp: he shall leap from Bashan.

  • DEU_33:23 And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the LORD: possess thou the west and the south.

  • DEU_33:24 And of Asher he said, [Let] Asher [be] blessed with children; let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil.

  • DEU_33:25 Thy shoes [shall be] iron and brass; and as thy days, [so shall] thy strength [be].

  • DEU_33:26 [There is] none like unto the God of Jeshurun, [who] rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky.

  • DEU_33:27 The eternal God [is thy] refuge, and underneath [are] the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy [them].

  • DEU_33:28 Israel then shall dwell in safety alone: the fountain of Jacob [shall be] upon a land of corn and wine; also his heavens shall drop down dew.

  • DEU_33:29 Happy [art] thou, O Israel: who [is] like unto thee, O people saved by the LORD, the shield of thy help, and who [is] the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.

  • DEU_34:1 And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that [is] over against Jericho. And the LORD showed him all the land of Gilead, unto Dan,

  • DEU_34:2 And all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, unto the utmost sea,

  • DEU_34:3 And the south, and the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, unto Zoar.

  • DEU_34:4 And the LORD said unto him, This [is] the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see [it] with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.

  • DEU_34:5 So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD.

  • DEU_34:6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.

  • DEU_34:7 And Moses [was] an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

  • DEU_34:8 And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping [and] mourning for Moses were ended.

  • DEU_34:9 And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses.

  • DEU_34:10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face,

  • DEU_34:11 In all the signs and the wonders, which the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,

  • DEU_34:12 And in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror which Moses showed in the sight of all Israel.

  • JOS_1:1 Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying,

  • JOS_1:2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, [even] to the children of Israel.

  • JOS_1:3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.

  • JOS_1:4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.

  • JOS_1:5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, [so] I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

  • JOS_1:6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.

  • JOS_1:7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it [to] the right hand or [to] the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.

  • JOS_1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

  • JOS_1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God [is] with thee whithersoever thou goest.

  • JOS_1:10 Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying,

  • JOS_1:11 Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the LORD your God giveth you to possess it.

  • JOS_1:12 And to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to half the tribe of Manasseh, spake Joshua, saying,

  • JOS_1:13 Remember the word which Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, saying, The LORD your God hath given you rest, and hath given you this land.

  • JOS_1:14 Your wives, your little ones, and your cattle, shall remain in the land which Moses gave you on this side Jordan; but ye shall pass before your brethren armed, all the mighty men of valour, and help them;

  • JOS_1:15 Until the LORD have given your brethren rest, as [he hath given] you, and they also have possessed the land which the LORD your God giveth them: then ye shall return unto the land of your possession, and enjoy it, which Moses the LORD'S servant gave you on this side Jordan toward the sunrising.

  • JOS_1:16 And they answered Joshua, saying, All that thou commandest us we will do, and whithersoever thou sendest us, we will go.

  • JOS_1:17 According as we hearkened unto Moses in all things, so will we hearken unto thee: only the LORD thy God be with thee, as he was with Moses.

  • JOS_1:18 Whosoever [he be] that doth rebel against thy commandment, and will not hearken unto thy words in all that thou commandest him, he shall be put to death: only be strong and of a good courage.

  • JOS_2:1 And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab, and lodged there.

  • JOS_2:2 And it was told the king of Jericho, saying, Behold, there came men in hither to night of the children of Israel to search out the country.

  • JOS_2:3 And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, Bring forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house: for they be come to search out all the country.

  • JOS_2:4 And the woman took the two men, and hid them, and said thus, There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they [were]:

  • JOS_2:5 And it came to pass [about the time] of shutting of the gate, when it was dark, that the men went out: whither the men went I wot not: pursue after them quickly; for ye shall overtake them.

  • JOS_2:6 But she had brought them up to the roof of the house, and hid them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid in order upon the roof.

  • JOS_2:7 And the men pursued after them the way to Jordan unto the fords: and as soon as they which pursued after them were gone out, they shut the gate.

  • JOS_2:8 And before they were laid down, she came up unto them upon the roof;

  • JOS_2:9 And she said unto the men, I know that the LORD hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.

  • JOS_2:10 For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that [were] on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed.

  • LUK_9:44 Let these sayings sink down into your ears: for the Son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men.

  • LUK_9:45 But they understood not this saying, and it was hid from them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask him of that saying.

  • LUK_9:46 Then there arose a reasoning among them, which of them should be greatest.

  • LUK_9:47 And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a child, and set him by him,

  • LUK_9:48 And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.

  • LUK_9:49 And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us.

  • LUK_9:50 And Jesus said unto him, Forbid [him] not: for he that is not against us is for us.

  • LUK_9:51 And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,

  • LUK_9:52 And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him.

  • LUK_9:53 And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem.

  • LUK_9:54 And when his disciples James and John saw [this], they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?

  • LUK_9:55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.

  • LUK_9:56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save [them]. And they went to another village.

  • LUK_9:57 And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain [man] said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.

  • LUK_9:58 And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air [have] nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay [his] head.

  • LUK_9:59 And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.

  • LUK_9:60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.

  • LUK_9:61 And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.

  • LUK_9:62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

  • LUK_10:1 After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.

  • LUK_10:2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly [is] great, but the labourers [are] few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

  • PSA_44:19 Though thou hast sore broken us in the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death.

  • PSA_44:20 If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god;

  • MATJ_24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

  • MATJ_24:45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
