Daily Devotional 1 Year Bible
  • EZE_23:33 Thou shalt be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, with the cup of astonishment and desolation, with the cup of thy sister Samaria.

  • EZE_23:34 Thou shalt even drink it and suck [it] out, and thou shalt break the sherds thereof, and pluck off thine own breasts: for I have spoken [it], saith the Lord GOD.

  • EZE_23:35 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear thou also thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.

  • EZE_23:36 The LORD said moreover unto me; Son of man, wilt thou judge Aholah and Aholibah? yea, declare unto them their abominations;

  • EZE_23:37 That they have committed adultery, and blood [is] in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bare unto me, to pass for them through [the fire], to devour [them].

  • EZE_23:38 Moreover this they have done unto me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths.

  • EZE_23:39 For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, lo, thus have they done in the midst of mine house.

  • EZE_23:40 And furthermore, that ye have sent for men to come from far, unto whom a messenger [was] sent; and, lo, they came: for whom thou didst wash thyself, paintedst thy eyes, and deckedst thyself with ornaments,

  • EZE_23:41 And satest upon a stately bed, and a table prepared before it, whereupon thou hast set mine incense and mine oil.

  • EZE_23:42 And a voice of a multitude being at ease [was] with her: and with the men of the common sort [were] brought Sabeans from the wilderness, which put bracelets upon their hands, and beautiful crowns upon their heads.

  • EZE_23:43 Then said I unto [her that was] old in adulteries, Will they now commit whoredoms with her, and she [with them]?

  • EZE_23:44 Yet they went in unto her, as they go in unto a woman that playeth the harlot: so went they in unto Aholah and unto Aholibah, the lewd women.

  • EZE_23:45 And the righteous men, they shall judge them after the manner of adulteresses, and after the manner of women that shed blood; because they [are] adulteresses, and blood [is] in their hands.

  • EZE_23:46 For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will bring up a company upon them, and will give them to be removed and spoiled.

  • EZE_23:47 And the company shall stone them with stones, and dispatch them with their swords; they shall slay their sons and their daughters, and burn up their houses with fire.

  • EZE_23:48 Thus will I cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to do after your lewdness.

  • EZE_23:49 And they shall recompense your lewdness upon you, and ye shall bear the sins of your idols: and ye shall know that I [am] the Lord GOD.

  • EZE_24:1 Again in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth [day] of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

  • EZE_24:2 Son of man, write thee the name of the day, [even] of this same day: the king of Babylon set himself against Jerusalem this same day.

  • EZE_24:3 And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Set on a pot, set [it] on, and also pour water into it:

  • EZE_24:4 Gather the pieces thereof into it, [even] every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill [it] with the choice bones.

  • EZE_24:5 Take the choice of the flock, and burn also the bones under it, [and] make it boil well, and let them seethe the bones of it therein.

  • EZE_24:6 Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum [is] therein, and whose scum is not gone out of it! bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it.

  • EZE_24:7 For her blood is in the midst of her; she set it upon the top of a rock; she poured it not upon the ground, to cover it with dust;

  • EZE_24:8 That it might cause fury to come up to take vengeance; I have set her blood upon the top of a rock, that it should not be covered.

  • EZE_24:9 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great.

  • EZE_24:10 Heap on wood, kindle the fire, consume the flesh, and spice it well, and let the bones be burned.

  • EZE_24:11 Then set it empty upon the coals thereof, that the brass of it may be hot, and may burn, and [that] the filthiness of it may be molten in it, [that] the scum of it may be consumed.

  • EZE_24:12 She hath wearied [herself] with lies, and her great scum went not forth out of her: her scum [shall be] in the fire.

  • EZE_24:13 In thy filthiness [is] lewdness: because I have purged thee, and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be purged from thy filthiness any more, till I have caused my fury to rest upon thee.

  • EZE_24:14 I the LORD have spoken [it]: it shall come to pass, and I will do [it]; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord GOD.

  • EZE_24:15 Also the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

  • EZE_24:16 Son of man, behold, I take away from thee the desire of thine eyes with a stroke: yet neither shalt thou mourn nor weep, neither shall thy tears run down.

  • EZE_24:17 Forbear to cry, make no mourning for the dead, bind the tire of thine head upon thee, and put on thy shoes upon thy feet, and cover not [thy] lips, and eat not the bread of men.

  • EZE_24:18 So I spake unto the people in the morning: and at even my wife died; and I did in the morning as I was commanded.

  • EZE_24:19 And the people said unto me, Wilt thou not tell us what these [things are] to us, that thou doest [so]?

  • EZE_24:20 Then I answered them, The word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

  • EZE_24:21 Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left shall fall by the sword.

  • EZE_24:22 And ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not cover [your] lips, nor eat the bread of men.

  • EZE_24:23 And your tires [shall be] upon your heads, and your shoes upon your feet: ye shall not mourn nor weep; but ye shall pine away for your iniquities, and mourn one toward another.

  • EZE_24:24 Thus Ezekiel is unto you a sign: according to all that he hath done shall ye do: and when this cometh, ye shall know that I [am] the Lord GOD.

  • EZE_24:25 Also, thou son of man, [shall it] not [be] in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their minds, their sons and their daughters,

  • EZE_24:26 [That] he that escapeth in that day shall come unto thee, to cause [thee] to hear [it] with [thine] ears?

  • EZE_24:27 In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him which is escaped, and thou shalt speak, and be no more dumb: and thou shalt be a sign unto them; and they shall know that I [am] the LORD.

  • EZE_25:1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

  • EZE_25:2 Son of man, set thy face against the Ammonites, and prophesy against them;

  • EZE_25:3 And say unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity;

  • EZE_25:4 Behold, therefore I will deliver thee to the men of the east for a possession, and they shall set their palaces in thee, and make their dwellings in thee: they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk.

  • EZE_25:5 And I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the Ammonites a couchingplace for flocks: and ye shall know that I [am] the LORD.

  • EZE_25:6 For thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast clapped [thine] hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy despite against the land of Israel;

  • EZE_25:7 Behold, therefore I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the heathen; and I will cut thee off from the people, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I [am] the LORD.

  • EZE_25:8 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah [is] like unto all the heathen;

  • HEB_11:36 And others had trial of [cruel] mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:

  • HEB_11:37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;

  • HEB_11:38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and [in] mountains, and [in] dens and caves of the earth.

  • HEB_11:39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:

  • HEB_11:40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

  • HEB_12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

  • HEB_12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

  • HEB_12:3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

  • HEB_12:4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

  • HEB_12:5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

  • HEB_12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

  • HEB_12:7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

  • HEB_12:8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

  • HEB_12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected [us], and we gave [them] reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

  • HEB_12:10 For they verily for a few days chastened [us] after their own pleasure; but he for [our] profit, that [we] might be partakers of his holiness.

  • HEB_12:11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

  • HEB_12:12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;

  • HEB_12:13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

  • HEB_12:14 Follow peace with all [men], and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

  • HEB_12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble [you], and thereby many be defiled;

  • HEB_12:16 Lest there [be] any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.

  • HEB_12:17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

  • PSA_126:1 A Song of degrees. When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.

  • PSA_126:2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.

  • PSA_126:3 The LORD hath done great things for us; [whereof] we are glad.

  • PSA_126:4 Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south.

  • PSA_126:5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

  • PSA_126:6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves [with him].

  • PSA_127:1 A Song of degrees for Solomon. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh [but] in vain.

  • PRO_28:12 When righteous [men] do rejoice, [there is] great glory: but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden.

  • PRO_28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh [them] shall have mercy.

  • JOHJ_14:17 [Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

  • JOHJ_14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

  • JOHJ_14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

  • JOHJ_14:20 At that day ye shall know that I [am] in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

  • JOHJ_14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
