Daily Devotional 1 Year Bible
  • EZE_31:12 And strangers, the terrible of the nations, have cut him off, and have left him: upon the mountains and in all the valleys his branches are fallen, and his boughs are broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the people of the earth are gone down from his shadow, and have left him.

  • EZE_31:13 Upon his ruin shall all the fowls of the heaven remain, and all the beasts of the field shall be upon his branches:

  • EZE_31:14 To the end that none of all the trees by the waters exalt themselves for their height, neither shoot up their top among the thick boughs, neither their trees stand up in their height, all that drink water: for they are all delivered unto death, to the nether parts of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit.

  • EZE_31:15 Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when he went down to the grave I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the floods thereof, and the great waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.

  • EZE_31:16 I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth.

  • EZE_31:17 They also went down into hell with him unto [them that be] slain with the sword; and [they that were] his arm, [that] dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the heathen.

  • EZE_31:18 To whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? yet shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the earth: thou shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with [them that be] slain by the sword. This [is] Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.

  • EZE_32:1 And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first [day] of the month, [that] the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

  • EZE_32:2 Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou art like a young lion of the nations, and thou [art] as a whale in the seas: and thou camest forth with thy rivers, and troubledst the waters with thy feet, and fouledst their rivers.

  • EZE_32:3 Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will therefore spread out my net over thee with a company of many people; and they shall bring thee up in my net.

  • EZE_32:4 Then will I leave thee upon the land, I will cast thee forth upon the open field, and will cause all the fowls of the heaven to remain upon thee, and I will fill the beasts of the whole earth with thee.

  • EZE_32:5 And I will lay thy flesh upon the mountains, and fill the valleys with thy height.

  • EZE_32:6 I will also water with thy blood the land wherein thou swimmest, [even] to the mountains; and the rivers shall be full of thee.

  • EZE_32:7 And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light.

  • EZE_32:8 All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord GOD.

  • EZE_32:9 I will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring thy destruction among the nations, into the countries which thou hast not known.

  • EZE_32:10 Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly afraid for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at [every] moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall.

  • EZE_32:11 For thus saith the Lord GOD; The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee.

  • EZE_32:12 By the swords of the mighty will I cause thy multitude to fall, the terrible of the nations, all of them: and they shall spoil the pomp of Egypt, and all the multitude thereof shall be destroyed.

  • EZE_32:13 I will destroy also all the beasts thereof from beside the great waters; neither shall the foot of man trouble them any more, nor the hoofs of beasts trouble them.

  • EZE_32:14 Then will I make their waters deep, and cause their rivers to run like oil, saith the Lord GOD.

  • EZE_32:15 When I shall make the land of Egypt desolate, and the country shall be destitute of that whereof it was full, when I shall smite all them that dwell therein, then shall they know that I [am] the LORD.

  • EZE_32:16 This [is] the lamentation wherewith they shall lament her: the daughters of the nations shall lament her: they shall lament for her, [even] for Egypt, and for all her multitude, saith the Lord GOD.

  • EZE_32:17 It came to pass also in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth [day] of the month, [that] the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

  • EZE_32:18 Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down, [even] her, and the daughters of the famous nations, unto the nether parts of the earth, with them that go down into the pit.

  • EZE_32:19 Whom dost thou pass in beauty? go down, and be thou laid with the uncircumcised.

  • EZE_32:20 They shall fall in the midst of [them that are] slain by the sword: she is delivered to the sword: draw her and all her multitudes.

  • EZE_32:21 The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of hell with them that help him: they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised, slain by the sword.

  • EZE_32:22 Asshur [is] there and all her company: his graves [are] about him: all of them slain, fallen by the sword:

  • EZE_32:23 Whose graves are set in the sides of the pit, and her company is round about her grave: all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which caused terror in the land of the living.

  • EZE_32:24 There [is] Elam and all her multitude round about her grave, all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, which caused their terror in the land of the living; yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit.

  • EZE_32:25 They have set her a bed in the midst of the slain with all her multitude: her graves [are] round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword: though their terror was caused in the land of the living, yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit: he is put in the midst of [them that be] slain.

  • EZE_32:26 There [is] Meshech, Tubal, and all her multitude: her graves [are] round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword, though they caused their terror in the land of the living.

  • EZE_32:27 And they shall not lie with the mighty [that are] fallen of the uncircumcised, which are gone down to hell with their weapons of war: and they have laid their swords under their heads, but their iniquities shall be upon their bones, though [they were] the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.

  • EZE_32:28 Yea, thou shalt be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, and shalt lie with [them that are] slain with the sword.

  • EZE_32:29 There [is] Edom, her kings, and all her princes, which with their might are laid by [them that were] slain by the sword: they shall lie with the uncircumcised, and with them that go down to the pit.

  • EZE_32:30 There [be] the princes of the north, all of them, and all the Zidonians, which are gone down with the slain; with their terror they are ashamed of their might; and they lie uncircumcised with [them that be] slain by the sword, and bear their shame with them that go down to the pit.

  • EZE_32:31 Pharaoh shall see them, and shall be comforted over all his multitude, [even] Pharaoh and all his army slain by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.

  • EZE_32:32 For I have caused my terror in the land of the living: and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised with [them that are] slain with the sword, [even] Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.

  • EZE_33:1 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

  • EZE_33:2 Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:

  • EZE_33:3 If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;

  • EZE_33:4 Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.

  • JAM_2:11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

  • JAM_2:12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

  • JAM_2:13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

  • JAM_2:14 What [doth it] profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?

  • JAM_2:15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,

  • JAM_2:16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be [ye] warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what [doth it] profit?

  • JAM_2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

  • JAM_2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

  • JAM_2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

  • JAM_2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

  • JAM_2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?

  • JAM_2:22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

  • JAM_2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

  • JAM_2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

  • JAM_2:25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent [them] out another way?

  • JAM_2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

  • JAM_3:1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

  • JAM_3:2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same [is] a perfect man, [and] able also to bridle the whole body.

  • JAM_3:3 Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.

  • JAM_3:4 Behold also the ships, which though [they be] so great, and [are] driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.

  • JAM_3:5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!

  • JAM_3:6 And the tongue [is] a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

  • JAM_3:7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:

  • JAM_3:8 But the tongue can no man tame; [it is] an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

  • JAM_3:9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.

  • PSA_130:4 But [there is] forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

  • PSA_130:5 I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

  • PSA_130:6 My soul [waiteth] for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: [I say, more than] they that watch for the morning.

  • PSA_130:7 Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD [there is] mercy, and with him [is] plenteous redemption.

  • PSA_130:8 And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

  • PSA_131:1 A Song of degrees of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

  • PSA_131:2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul [is] even as a weaned child.

  • PRO_28:20 A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.

  • PRO_28:21 To have respect of persons [is] not good: for for a piece of bread [that] man will transgress.

  • JOHJ_15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

  • JOHJ_15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

  • JOHJ_15:9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

  • JOHJ_15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

  • JOHJ_15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and [that] your joy might be full.

  • JOHJ_15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
