Daily Devotional 1 Year Bible
  • JER_11:6 Then the LORD said unto me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant, and do them.

  • JER_11:7 For I earnestly protested unto your fathers in the day [that] I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, [even] unto this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my voice.

  • JER_11:8 Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every one in the imagination of their evil heart: therefore I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded [them] to do; but they did [them] not.

  • JER_11:9 And the LORD said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

  • JER_11:10 They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers.

  • JER_11:11 Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them.

  • JER_11:12 Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go, and cry unto the gods unto whom they offer incense: but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble.

  • JER_11:13 For [according to] the number of thy cities were thy gods, O Judah; and [according to] the number of the streets of Jerusalem have ye set up altars to [that] shameful thing, [even] altars to burn incense unto Baal.

  • JER_11:14 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear [them] in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.

  • JER_11:15 What hath my beloved to do in mine house, [seeing] she hath wrought lewdness with many, and the holy flesh is passed from thee? when thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest.

  • JER_11:16 The LORD called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, [and] of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken.

  • JER_11:17 For the LORD of hosts, that planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal.

  • JER_11:18 And the LORD hath given me knowledge [of it], and I know [it]: then thou showedst me their doings.

  • JER_11:19 But I [was] like a lamb [or] an ox [that] is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, [saying], Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.

  • JER_11:20 But, O LORD of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause.

  • JER_11:21 Therefore thus saith the LORD of the men of Anathoth, that seek thy life, saying, Prophesy not in the name of the LORD, that thou die not by our hand:

  • JER_11:22 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine:

  • JER_11:23 And there shall be no remnant of them: for I will bring evil upon the men of Anathoth, [even] the year of their visitation.

  • JER_12:1 Righteous [art] thou, O LORD, when I plead with thee: yet let me talk with thee of [thy] judgments: Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper? [wherefore] are all they happy that deal very treacherously?

  • JER_12:2 Thou hast planted them, yea, they have taken root: they grow, yea, they bring forth fruit: thou [art] near in their mouth, and far from their reins.

  • JER_12:3 But thou, O LORD, knowest me: thou hast seen me, and tried mine heart toward thee: pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter.

  • JER_12:4 How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every field wither, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein? the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our last end.

  • JER_12:5 If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and [if] in the land of peace, [wherein] thou trustedst, [they wearied thee], then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?

  • JER_12:6 For even thy brethren, and the house of thy father, even they have dealt treacherously with thee; yea, they have called a multitude after thee: believe them not, though they speak fair words unto thee.

  • JER_12:7 I have forsaken mine house, I have left mine heritage; I have given the dearly beloved of my soul into the hand of her enemies.

  • JER_12:8 Mine heritage is unto me as a lion in the forest; it crieth out against me: therefore have I hated it.

  • JER_12:9 Mine heritage [is] unto me [as] a speckled bird, the birds round about [are] against her; come ye, assemble all the beasts of the field, come to devour.

  • JER_12:10 Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.

  • JER_12:11 They have made it desolate, [and being] desolate it mourneth unto me; the whole land is made desolate, because no man layeth [it] to heart.

  • JER_12:12 The spoilers are come upon all high places through the wilderness: for the sword of the LORD shall devour from the [one] end of the land even to the [other] end of the land: no flesh shall have peace.

  • JER_12:13 They have sown wheat, but shall reap thorns: they have put themselves to pain, [but] shall not profit: and they shall be ashamed of your revenues because of the fierce anger of the LORD.

  • JER_12:14 Thus saith the LORD against all mine evil neighbours, that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit; Behold, I will pluck them out of their land, and pluck out the house of Judah from among them.

  • JER_12:15 And it shall come to pass, after that I have plucked them out I will return, and have compassion on them, and will bring them again, every man to his heritage, and every man to his land.

  • JER_12:16 And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The LORD liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people.

  • JER_12:17 But if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith the LORD.

  • JER_13:1 Thus saith the LORD unto me, Go and get thee a linen girdle, and put it upon thy loins, and put it not in water.

  • JER_13:2 So I got a girdle according to the word of the LORD, and put [it] on my loins.

  • JER_13:3 And the word of the LORD came unto me the second time, saying,

  • JER_13:4 Take the girdle that thou hast got, which [is] upon thy loins, and arise, go to Euphrates, and hide it there in a hole of the rock.

  • JER_13:5 So I went, and hid it by Euphrates, as the LORD commanded me.

  • JER_13:6 And it came to pass after many days, that the LORD said unto me, Arise, go to Euphrates, and take the girdle from thence, which I commanded thee to hide there.

  • JER_13:7 Then I went to Euphrates, and digged, and took the girdle from the place where I had hid it: and, behold, the girdle was marred, it was profitable for nothing.

  • JER_13:8 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

  • JER_13:9 Thus saith the LORD, After this manner will I mar the pride of Judah, and the great pride of Jerusalem.

  • JER_13:10 This evil people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imagination of their heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle, which is good for nothing.

  • JER_13:11 For as the girdle cleaveth to the loins of a man, so have I caused to cleave unto me the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah, saith the LORD; that they might be unto me for a people, and for a name, and for a praise, and for a glory: but they would not hear.

  • JER_13:12 Therefore thou shalt speak unto them this word; Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Every bottle shall be filled with wine: and they shall say unto thee, Do we not certainly know that every bottle shall be filled with wine?

  • JER_13:13 Then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will fill all the inhabitants of this land, even the kings that sit upon David's throne, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, with drunkenness.

  • EPH_4:18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

  • EPH_4:19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

  • EPH_4:20 But ye have not so learned Christ;

  • EPH_4:21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

  • EPH_4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

  • EPH_4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

  • EPH_4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

  • EPH_4:25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

  • EPH_4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

  • EPH_4:27 Neither give place to the devil.

  • EPH_4:28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with [his] hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

  • EPH_4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

  • EPH_4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

  • EPH_4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

  • EPH_4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

  • EPH_5:1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

  • EPH_5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

  • EPH_5:3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

  • EPH_5:4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

  • EPH_5:5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

  • EPH_5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

  • EPH_5:7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

  • EPH_5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now [are ye] light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

  • EPH_5:9 (For the fruit of the Spirit [is] in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

  • EPH_5:10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

  • EPH_5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove [them].

  • EPH_5:12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

  • EPH_5:13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

  • EPH_5:14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

  • PSA_115:1 Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, [and] for thy truth's sake.

  • PSA_115:2 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where [is] now their God?

  • PSA_115:3 But our God [is] in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.

  • PSA_115:4 Their idols [are] silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

  • PSA_115:5 They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:

  • PSA_115:6 They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:

  • PSA_115:7 They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.

  • PSA_115:8 They that make them are like unto them; [so is] every one that trusteth in them.

  • PRO_25:8 Go not forth hastily to strive, lest [thou know not] what to do in the end thereof, when thy neighbour hath put thee to shame.

  • PRO_25:9 Debate thy cause with thy neighbour [himself]; and discover not a secret to another:

  • JOHJ_5:23 That all [men] should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

  • JOHJ_5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

  • JOHJ_5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

  • JOHJ_5:26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
