  • JER_17:20 And say unto them, Hear ye the word of the LORD, ye kings of Judah, and all Judah, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, that enter in by these gates:

  • JER_17:21 Thus saith the LORD; Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the sabbath day, nor bring [it] in by the gates of Jerusalem;

  • JER_17:22 Neither carry forth a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, neither do ye any work, but hallow ye the sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers.

  • JER_17:23 But they obeyed not, neither inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff, that they might not hear, nor receive instruction.

  • JER_17:24 And it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken unto me, saith the LORD, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the sabbath day, but hallow the sabbath day, to do no work therein;

  • JER_17:25 Then shall there enter into the gates of this city kings and princes sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they, and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem: and this city shall remain for ever.

  • JER_17:26 And they shall come from the cities of Judah, and from the places about Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin, and from the plain, and from the mountains, and from the south, bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and meat offerings, and incense, and bringing sacrifices of praise, unto the house of the LORD.

  • JER_17:27 But if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow the sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.

  • JER_18:1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,

  • JER_18:2 Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.

  • JER_18:3 Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.

  • JER_18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make [it].

  • JER_18:5 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

  • JER_18:6 O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay [is] in the potter's hand, so [are] ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.

  • JER_18:7 [At what] instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy [it];

  • JER_18:8 If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.

  • JER_18:9 And [at what] instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant [it];

  • JER_18:10 If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.

  • JER_18:11 Now therefore go to, speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a device against you: return ye now every one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.

  • JER_18:12 And they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own devices, and we will every one do the imagination of his evil heart.

  • JER_18:13 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Ask ye now among the heathen, who hath heard such things: the virgin of Israel hath done a very horrible thing.

  • JER_18:14 Will [a man] leave the snow of Lebanon [which cometh] from the rock of the field? [or] shall the cold flowing waters that come from another place be forsaken?

  • JER_18:15 Because my people hath forgotten me, they have burned incense to vanity, and they have caused them to stumble in their ways [from] the ancient paths, to walk in paths, [in] a way not cast up;

  • JER_18:16 To make their land desolate, [and] a perpetual hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished, and wag his head.

  • JER_18:17 I will scatter them as with an east wind before the enemy; I will show them the back, and not the face, in the day of their calamity.

  • JER_18:18 Then said they, Come, and let us devise devices against Jeremiah; for the law shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come, and let us smite him with the tongue, and let us not give heed to any of his words.

  • JER_18:19 Give heed to me, O LORD, and hearken to the voice of them that contend with me.

  • JER_18:20 Shall evil be recompensed for good? for they have digged a pit for my soul. Remember that I stood before thee to speak good for them, [and] to turn away thy wrath from them.

  • JER_18:21 Therefore deliver up their children to the famine, and pour out their [blood] by the force of the sword; and let their wives be bereaved of their children, and [be] widows; and let their men be put to death; [let] their young men [be] slain by the sword in battle.

  • JER_18:22 Let a cry be heard from their houses, when thou shalt bring a troop suddenly upon them: for they have digged a pit to take me, and hid snares for my feet.

  • JER_18:23 Yet, LORD, thou knowest all their counsel against me to slay [me]: forgive not their iniquity, neither blot out their sin from thy sight, but let them be overthrown before thee; deal [thus] with them in the time of thine anger.

  • JER_19:1 Thus saith the LORD, Go and get a potter's earthen bottle, and [take] of the ancients of the people, and of the ancients of the priests;

  • JER_19:2 And go forth unto the valley of the son of Hinnom, which [is] by the entry of the east gate, and proclaim there the words that I shall tell thee,

  • JER_19:3 And say, Hear ye the word of the LORD, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, the which whosoever heareth, his ears shall tingle.

  • JER_19:4 Because they have forsaken me, and have estranged this place, and have burned incense in it unto other gods, whom neither they nor their fathers have known, nor the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocents;

  • JER_19:5 They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire [for] burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake [it], neither came [it] into my mind:

  • JER_19:6 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that this place shall no more be called Tophet, nor The valley of the son of Hinnom, but The valley of slaughter.

  • JER_19:7 And I will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place; and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hands of them that seek their lives: and their carcases will I give to be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.

  • JER_19:8 And I will make this city desolate, and an hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished and hiss because of all the plagues thereof.

  • JER_19:9 And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall eat every one the flesh of his friend in the siege and straitness, wherewith their enemies, and they that seek their lives, shall straiten them.

  • JER_19:10 Then shalt thou break the bottle in the sight of the men that go with thee.

  • JER_19:11 And shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Even so will I break this people and this city, as [one] breaketh a potter's vessel, that cannot be made whole again: and they shall bury [them] in Tophet, till [there be] no place to bury.

  • JER_19:12 Thus will I do unto this place, saith the LORD, and to the inhabitants thereof, and [even] make this city as Tophet:

  • JER_19:13 And the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses of the kings of Judah, shall be defiled as the place of Tophet, because of all the houses upon whose roofs they have burned incense unto all the host of heaven, and have poured out drink offerings unto other gods.

  • JER_19:14 Then came Jeremiah from Tophet, whither the LORD had sent him to prophesy; and he stood in the court of the LORD'S house; and said to all the people,

  • JER_19:15 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon this city and upon all her towns all the evil that I have pronounced against it, because they have hardened their necks, that they might not hear my words.

  • PHP_1:13 So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other [places];

  • PHP_1:14 And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.

  • PHP_1:15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:

  • PHP_1:16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:

  • PHP_1:17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.

  • PHP_1:18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

  • PHP_1:19 For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

  • PHP_1:20 According to my earnest expectation and [my] hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but [that] with all boldness, as always, [so] now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether [it be] by life, or by death.

  • PHP_1:21 For to me to live [is] Christ, and to die [is] gain.

  • PHP_1:22 But if I live in the flesh, this [is] the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.

  • PHP_1:23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:

  • PHP_1:24 Nevertheless to abide in the flesh [is] more needful for you.

  • PHP_1:25 And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;

  • PHP_1:26 That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.

  • PHP_1:27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

  • PHP_1:28 And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.

  • PHP_1:29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

  • PHP_1:30 Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear [to be] in me.

  • PHP_2:1 If [there be] therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,

  • PHP_2:2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, [being] of one accord, of one mind.

  • PHP_2:3 [Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

  • PHP_2:4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

  • PHP_2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

  • PHP_2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

  • PHP_2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

  • PHP_2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

  • PSA_116:6 The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

  • PSA_116:7 Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.

  • PSA_116:8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, [and] my feet from falling.

  • PSA_116:9 I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.

  • PSA_116:10 I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:

  • PSA_116:11 I said in my haste, All men [are] liars.

  • PSA_116:12 What shall I render unto the LORD [for] all his benefits toward me?

  • PSA_116:13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.

  • PSA_116:14 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

  • PRO_25:15 By long forbearing is a prince persuaded, and a soft tongue breaketh the bone.

  • PRO_25:16 Hast thou found honey? eat so much as is sufficient for thee, lest thou be filled therewith, and vomit it.

  • JOHJ_5:38 And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.

  • JOHJ_5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

  • JOHJ_5:40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

  • JOHJ_5:41 I receive not honour from men.

  • JOHJ_5:42 But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.

  • JOHJ_5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

  • JOHJ_5:44 How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that [cometh] from God only?
