Daily Devotional 1 Year Bible
JOB_7:14 Then thou scarest me with dreams, and terrifiest me through visions:
JOB_7:15 So that my soul chooseth strangling, [and] death rather than my life.
JOB_7:16 I loathe [it]; I would not live alway: let me alone; for my days [are] vanity.
JOB_7:17 What [is] man, that thou shouldest magnify him? and that thou shouldest set thine heart upon him?
JOB_7:18 And [that] thou shouldest visit him every morning, [and] try him every moment?
JOB_7:19 How long wilt thou not depart from me, nor let me alone till I swallow down my spittle?
JOB_7:20 I have sinned; what shall I do unto thee, O thou preserver of men? why hast thou set me as a mark against thee, so that I am a burden to myself?
JOB_7:21 And why dost thou not pardon my transgression, and take away mine iniquity? for now shall I sleep in the dust; and thou shalt seek me in the morning, but I [shall] not [be].
JOB_8:1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
JOB_8:2 How long wilt thou speak these [things]? and [how long shall] the words of thy mouth [be like] a strong wind?
JOB_8:3 Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice?
JOB_8:4 If thy children have sinned against him, and he have cast them away for their transgression;
JOB_8:5 If thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty;
JOB_8:6 If thou [wert] pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous.
JOB_8:7 Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.
JOB_8:8 For inquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers:
JOB_8:9 (For we [are but of] yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth [are] a shadow:)
JOB_8:10 Shall not they teach thee, [and] tell thee, and utter words out of their heart?
JOB_8:11 Can the rush grow up without mire? can the flag grow without water?
JOB_8:12 Whilst it [is] yet in his greenness, [and] not cut down, it withereth before any [other] herb.
JOB_8:13 So [are] the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite's hope shall perish:
JOB_8:14 Whose hope shall be cut off, and whose trust [shall be] a spider's web.
JOB_8:15 He shall lean upon his house, but it shall not stand: he shall hold it fast, but it shall not endure.
JOB_8:16 He [is] green before the sun, and his branch shooteth forth in his garden.
JOB_8:17 His roots are wrapped about the heap, [and] seeth the place of stones.
JOB_8:18 If he destroy him from his place, then [it] shall deny him, [saying], I have not seen thee.
JOB_8:19 Behold, this [is] the joy of his way, and out of the earth shall others grow.
JOB_8:20 Behold, God will not cast away a perfect [man], neither will he help the evil doers:
JOB_8:21 Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing.
JOB_8:22 They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame; and the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to nought.
JOB_9:1 Then Job answered and said,
JOB_9:2 I know [it is] so of a truth: but how should man be just with God?
JOB_9:3 If he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand.
JOB_9:4 [He is] wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened [himself] against him, and hath prospered?
JOB_9:5 Which removeth the mountains, and they know not: which overturneth them in his anger.
JOB_9:6 Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble.
JOB_9:7 Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars.
JOB_9:8 Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea.
JOB_9:9 Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south.
JOB_9:10 Which doeth great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number.
JOB_9:11 Lo, he goeth by me, and I see [him] not: he passeth on also, but I perceive him not.
JOB_9:12 Behold, he taketh away, who can hinder him? who will say unto him, What doest thou?
JOB_9:13 [If] God will not withdraw his anger, the proud helpers do stoop under him.
JOB_9:14 How much less shall I answer him, [and] choose out my words [to reason] with him?
JOB_9:15 Whom, though I were righteous, [yet] would I not answer, [but] I would make supplication to my judge.
JOB_9:16 If I had called, and he had answered me; [yet] would I not believe that he had hearkened unto my voice.
JOB_9:17 For he breaketh me with a tempest, and multiplieth my wounds without cause.
JOB_9:18 He will not suffer me to take my breath, but filleth me with bitterness.
JOB_9:19 If [I speak] of strength, lo, [he is] strong: and if of judgment, who shall set me a time [to plead]?
JOB_9:20 If I justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn me: [if I say], I [am] perfect, it shall also prove me perverse.
JOB_9:21 [Though] I [were] perfect, [yet] would I not know my soul: I would despise my life.
JOB_9:22 This [is] one [thing], therefore I said [it], He destroyeth the perfect and the wicked.
JOB_9:23 If the scourge slay suddenly, he will laugh at the trial of the innocent.
JOB_9:24 The earth is given into the hand of the wicked: he covereth the faces of the judges thereof; if not, where, [and] who [is] he?
JOB_9:25 Now my days are swifter than a post: they flee away, they see no good.
JOB_9:26 They are passed away as the swift ships: as the eagle [that] hasteth to the prey.
JOB_9:27 If I say, I will forget my complaint, I will leave off my heaviness, and comfort [myself]:
JOB_9:28 I am afraid of all my sorrows, I know that thou wilt not hold me innocent.
JOB_9:29 [If] I be wicked, why then labour I in vain?
JOB_9:30 If I wash myself with snow water, and make my hands never so clean;
JOB_9:31 Yet shalt thou plunge me in the ditch, and mine own clothes shall abhor me.
JOB_9:32 For [he is] not a man, as I [am, that] I should answer him, [and] we should come together in judgment.
JOB_9:33 Neither is there any daysman betwixt us, [that] might lay his hand upon us both.
JOB_9:34 Let him take his rod away from me, and let not his fear terrify me:
JOB_9:35 [Then] would I speak, and not fear him; but [it is] not so with me.
JOB_10:1 My soul is weary of my life; I will leave my complaint upon myself; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul.
JOB_10:2 I will say unto God, Do not condemn me; show me wherefore thou contendest with me.
JOB_10:3 [Is it] good unto thee that thou shouldest oppress, that thou shouldest despise the work of thine hands, and shine upon the counsel of the wicked?
JOB_10:4 Hast thou eyes of flesh? or seest thou as man seeth?
JOB_10:5 [Are] thy days as the days of man? [are] thy years as man's days,
JOB_10:6 That thou inquirest after mine iniquity, and searchest after my sin?
JOB_10:7 Thou knowest that I am not wicked; and [there is] none that can deliver out of thine hand.
JOB_10:8 Thine hands have made me and fashioned me together round about; yet thou dost destroy me.
JOB_10:9 Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay; and wilt thou bring me into dust again?
JOB_10:10 Hast thou not poured me out as milk, and curdled me like cheese?
JOB_10:11 Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinews.
JOB_10:12 Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit.
JOB_10:13 And these [things] hast thou hid in thine heart: I know that this [is] with thee.
JOB_10:14 If I sin, then thou markest me, and thou wilt not acquit me from mine iniquity.
JOB_10:15 If I be wicked, woe unto me; and [if] I be righteous, [yet] will I not lift up my head. [I am] full of confusion; therefore see thou mine affliction;
JOB_10:16 For it increaseth. Thou huntest me as a fierce lion: and again thou showest thyself marvellous upon me.
JOB_10:17 Thou renewest thy witnesses against me, and increasest thine indignation upon me; changes and war [are] against me.
JOB_10:18 Wherefore then hast thou brought me forth out of the womb? Oh that I had given up the ghost, and no eye had seen me!
JOB_10:19 I should have been as though I had not been; I should have been carried from the womb to the grave.
JOB_10:20 [Are] not my days few? cease [then, and] let me alone, that I may take comfort a little,
JOB_10:21 Before I go [whence] I shall not return, [even] to the land of darkness and the shadow of death;
JOB_10:22 A land of darkness, as darkness [itself; and] of the shadow of death, without any order, and [where] the light [is] as darkness.
ROM_12:16 [Be] of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
ROM_12:17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
ROM_12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
ROM_12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but [rather] give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance [is] mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
ROM_12:20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
ROM_12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
ROM_13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
ROM_13:2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
ROM_13:3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
ROM_13:4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to [execute] wrath upon him that doeth evil.
ROM_13:5 Wherefore [ye] must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.
ROM_13:6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.
ROM_13:7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute [is due]; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
ROM_13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
ROM_13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if [there be] any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
ROM_13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love [is] the fulfilling of the law.
ROM_13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now [it is] high time to awake out of sleep: for now [is] our salvation nearer than when we believed.
ROM_13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
ROM_13:13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkeness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
ROM_13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to [fulfil] the lusts [thereof].
PSA_98:9 Before the LORD; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.
PSA_99:1 The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth [between] the cherubims; let the earth be moved.
PSA_99:2 The LORD [is] great in Zion; and he [is] high above all the people.
PSA_99:3 Let them praise thy great and terrible name; [for] it [is] holy.
PSA_99:4 The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.
PSA_99:5 Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; [for] he [is] holy.
PSA_99:6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.
PRO_21:23 Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.
PRO_21:24 Proud [and] haughty scorner [is] his name, who dealeth in proud wrath.
PRO_21:25 The desire of the slothful killeth him; for his hands refuse to labour.
LUKJ_16:17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.
LUKJ_16:18 Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from [her] husband committeth adultery.
LUKJ_16:19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
LUKJ_16:20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
LUKJ_16:21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
