Daily Devotional 1 Year Bible JER_51:49 As Babylon [hath caused] the slain of Israel to fall, so at Babylon shall fall the slain of all the earth.
JER_51:50 Ye that have escaped the sword, go away, stand not still: remember the LORD afar off, and let Jerusalem come into your mind.
JER_51:51 We are confounded, because we have heard reproach: shame hath covered our faces: for strangers are come into the sanctuaries of the LORD'S house.
JER_51:52 Wherefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will do judgment upon her graven images: and through all her land the wounded shall groan.
JER_51:53 Though Babylon should mount up to heaven, and though she should fortify the height of her strength, [yet] from me shall spoilers come unto her, saith the LORD.
JER_51:54 A sound of a cry [cometh] from Babylon, and great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans:
JER_51:55 Because the LORD hath spoiled Babylon, and destroyed out of her the great voice; when her waves do roar like great waters, a noise of their voice is uttered:
JER_51:56 Because the spoiler is come upon her, [even] upon Babylon, and her mighty men are taken, every one of their bows is broken: for the LORD God of recompenses shall surely requite.
JER_51:57 And I will make drunk her princes, and her wise [men], her captains, and her rulers, and her mighty men: and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the King, whose name [is] the LORD of hosts.
JER_51:58 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The broad walls of Babylon shall be utterly broken, and her high gates shall be burned with fire; and the people shall labour in vain, and the folk in the fire, and they shall be weary.
JER_51:59 The word which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah into Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. And [this] Seraiah [was] a quiet prince.
JER_51:60 So Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come upon Babylon, [even] all these words that are written against Babylon.
JER_51:61 And Jeremiah said to Seraiah, When thou comest to Babylon, and shalt see, and shalt read all these words;
JER_51:62 Then shalt thou say, O LORD, thou hast spoken against this place, to cut it off, that none shall remain in it, neither man nor beast, but that it shall be desolate for ever.
JER_51:63 And it shall be, when thou hast made an end of reading this book, [that] thou shalt bind a stone to it, and cast it into the midst of Euphrates:
JER_51:64 And thou shalt say, Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her: and they shall be weary. Thus far [are] the words of Jeremiah.
JER_52:1 Zedekiah [was] one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name [was] Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
JER_52:2 And he did [that which was] evil in the eyes of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.
JER_52:3 For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, till he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
JER_52:4 And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth [day] of the month, [that] Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, and pitched against it, and built forts against it round about.
JER_52:5 So the city was besieged unto the eleventh year of king Zedekiah.
JER_52:6 And in the fourth month, in the ninth [day] of the month, the famine was sore in the city, so that there was no bread for the people of the land.
JER_52:7 Then the city was broken up, and all the men of war fled, and went forth out of the city by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, which [was] by the king's garden; (now the Chaldeans [were] by the city round about:) and they went by the way of the plain.
JER_52:8 But the army of the Chaldeans pursued after the king, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho; and all his army was scattered from him.
JER_52:9 Then they took the king, and carried him up unto the king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath; where he gave judgment upon him.
JER_52:10 And the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes: he slew also all the princes of Judah in Riblah.
JER_52:11 Then he put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in chains, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his death.
JER_52:12 Now in the fifth month, in the tenth [day] of the month, which [was] the nineteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, [which] served the king of Babylon, into Jerusalem,
JER_52:13 And burned the house of the LORD, and the king's house; and all the houses of Jerusalem, and all the houses of the great [men], burned he with fire:
JER_52:14 And all the army of the Chaldeans, that [were] with the captain of the guard, brake down all the walls of Jerusalem round about.
JER_52:15 Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive [certain] of the poor of the people, and the residue of the people that remained in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the multitude.
JER_52:16 But Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left [certain] of the poor of the land for vinedressers and for husbandmen.
JER_52:17 Also the pillars of brass that [were] in the house of the LORD, and the bases, and the brazen sea that [was] in the house of the LORD, the Chaldeans brake, and carried all the brass of them to Babylon.
JER_52:18 The caldrons also, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass wherewith they ministered, took they away.
JER_52:19 And the basins, and the firepans, and the bowls, and the caldrons, and the candlesticks, and the spoons, and the cups; [that] which [was] of gold [in] gold, and [that] which [was] of silver [in] silver, took the captain of the guard away.
JER_52:20 The two pillars, one sea, and twelve brazen bulls that [were] under the bases, which king Solomon had made in the house of the LORD: the brass of all these vessels was without weight.
JER_52:21 And [concerning] the pillars, the height of one pillar [was] eighteen cubits; and a fillet of twelve cubits did compass it; and the thickness thereof [was] four fingers: [it was] hollow.
JER_52:22 And a chapiter of brass [was] upon it; and the height of one chapiter [was] five cubits, with network and pomegranates upon the chapiters round about, all [of] brass. The second pillar also and the pomegranates [were] like unto these.
JER_52:23 And there were ninety and six pomegranates on a side; [and] all the pomegranates upon the network [were] an hundred round about.
JER_52:24 And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the door:
JER_52:25 He took also out of the city an eunuch, which had the charge of the men of war; and seven men of them that were near the king's person, which were found in the city; and the principal scribe of the host, who mustered the people of the land; and threescore men of the people of the land, that were found in the midst of the city.
JER_52:26 So Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took them, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah.
JER_52:27 And the king of Babylon smote them, and put them to death in Riblah in the land of Hamath. Thus Judah was carried away captive out of his own land.
JER_52:28 This [is] the people whom Nebuchadrezzar carried away captive: in the seventh year three thousand Jews and three and twenty:
JER_52:29 In the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar he carried away captive from Jerusalem eight hundred thirty and two persons:
JER_52:30 In the three and twentieth year of Nebuchadrezzar Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive of the Jews seven hundred forty and five persons: all the persons [were] four thousand and six hundred.
JER_52:31 And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the five and twentieth [day] of the month, [that] Evilmerodach king of Babylon in the [first] year of his reign lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him forth out of prison,
2TI_2:20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
2TI_2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, [and] prepared unto every good work.
2TI_2:22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
2TI_2:23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
2TI_2:24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all [men], apt to teach, patient,
2TI_2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
2TI_2:26 And [that] they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
2TI_3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2TI_3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2TI_3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
2TI_3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2TI_3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2TI_3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
2TI_3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
2TI_3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
2TI_3:9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all [men], as theirs also was.
2TI_3:10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
2TI_3:11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of [them] all the Lord delivered me.
2TI_3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
2TI_3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
2TI_3:14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned [them];
2TI_3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
2TI_3:16 All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2TI_3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
2TI_4:1 I charge [thee] therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
PSA_119:105 NUN. Thy word [is] a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
PSA_119:106 I have sworn, and I will perform [it], that I will keep thy righteous judgments.
PSA_119:107 I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word.
PSA_119:108 Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments.
PSA_119:109 My soul [is] continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law.
PSA_119:110 The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts.
PSA_119:111 Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they [are] the rejoicing of my heart.
PSA_119:112 I have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes alway, [even unto] the end.
PRO_27:6 Faithful [are] the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy [are] deceitful.
PRO_27:7 The full soul loatheth an honeycomb; but to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.
PRO_27:8 As a bird that wandereth from her nest, so [is] a man that wandereth from his place.
JOHJ_10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.
JOHJ_10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
JOHJ_10:12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
JOHJ_10:13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
JOHJ_10:14 I am the good shepherd, and know my [sheep], and am known of mine.
