Daily Devotional 1 Year Bible
  • ISA_7:20 In the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor that is hired, [namely], by them beyond the river, by the king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of the feet: and it shall also consume the beard.

  • ISA_7:21 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] a man shall nourish a young cow, and two sheep;

  • ISA_7:22 And it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk [that] they shall give he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one eat that is left in the land.

  • ISA_7:23 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] every place shall be, where there were a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings, it shall [even] be for briers and thorns.

  • ISA_7:24 With arrows and with bows shall [men] come thither; because all the land shall become briers and thorns.

  • ISA_7:25 And [on] all hills that shall be digged with the mattock, there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle.

  • ISA_8:1 Moreover the LORD said unto me, Take thee a great roll, and write in it with a man's pen concerning Mahershalalhashbaz.

  • ISA_8:2 And I took unto me faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.

  • ISA_8:3 And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said the LORD to me, Call his name Mahershalalhashbaz.

  • ISA_8:4 For before the child shall have knowledge to cry, My father, and my mother, the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be taken away before the king of Assyria.

  • ISA_8:5 The LORD spake also unto me again, saying,

  • ISA_8:6 Forasmuch as this people refuseth the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah's son;

  • ISA_8:7 Now therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many, [even] the king of Assyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks:

  • ISA_8:8 And he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach [even] to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Immanuel.

  • ISA_8:9 Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces.

  • ISA_8:10 Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God [is] with us.

  • ISA_8:11 For the LORD spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying,

  • ISA_8:12 Say ye not, A confederacy, to all [them to] whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.

  • ISA_8:13 Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and [let] him [be] your fear, and [let] him [be] your dread.

  • ISA_8:14 And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

  • ISA_8:15 And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.

  • ISA_8:16 Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.

  • ISA_8:17 And I will wait upon the LORD, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.

  • ISA_8:18 Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me [are] for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.

  • ISA_8:19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?

  • ISA_8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, [it is] because [there is] no light in them.

  • ISA_8:21 And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward.

  • ISA_8:22 And they shall look unto the earth; and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish; and [they shall be] driven to darkness.

  • ISA_9:1 Nevertheless the dimness [shall] not [be] such as [was] in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict [her by] the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations.

  • ISA_9:2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

  • ISA_9:3 Thou hast multiplied the nation, [and] not increased the joy: they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest, [and] as [men] rejoice when they divide the spoil.

  • ISA_9:4 For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.

  • ISA_9:5 For every battle of the warrior [is] with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but [this] shall be with burning [and] fuel of fire.

  • ISA_9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

  • ISA_9:7 Of the increase of [his] government and peace [there shall be] no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

  • ISA_9:8 The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel.

  • ISA_9:9 And all the people shall know, [even] Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that say in the pride and stoutness of heart,

  • ISA_9:10 The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycamores are cut down, but we will change [them into] cedars.

  • ISA_9:11 Therefore the LORD shall set up the adversaries of Rezin against him, and join his enemies together;

  • ISA_9:12 The Syrians before, and the Philistines behind; and they shall devour Israel with open mouth. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand [is] stretched out still.

  • ISA_9:13 For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts.

  • ISA_9:14 Therefore the LORD will cut off from Israel head and tail, branch and rush, in one day.

  • ISA_9:15 The ancient and honourable, he [is] the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he [is] the tail.

  • ISA_9:16 For the leaders of this people cause [them] to err; and [they that are] led of them [are] destroyed.

  • ISA_9:17 Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one [is] an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand [is] stretched out still.

  • ISA_9:18 For wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up [like] the lifting up of smoke.

  • ISA_9:19 Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts is the land darkened, and the people shall be as the fuel of the fire: no man shall spare his brother.

  • ISA_9:20 And he shall snatch on the right hand, and be hungry; and he shall eat on the left hand, and they shall not be satisfied: they shall eat every man the flesh of his own arm:

  • ISA_9:21 Manasseh, Ephraim; and Ephraim, Manasseh: [and] they together [shall be] against Judah. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand [is] stretched out still.

  • ISA_10:1 Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness [which] they have prescribed;

  • ISA_10:2 To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and [that] they may rob the fatherless!

  • ISA_10:3 And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation [which] shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?

  • ISA_10:4 Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand [is] stretched out still.

  • ISA_10:5 O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.

  • 1CO_14:3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men [to] edification, and exhortation, and comfort.

  • 1CO_14:4 He that speaketh in an [unknown] tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.

  • 1CO_14:5 I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater [is] he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.

  • 1CO_14:6 Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?

  • 1CO_14:7 And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped?

  • 1CO_14:8 For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?

  • 1CO_14:9 So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye shall speak into the air.

  • 1CO_14:10 There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them [is] without signification.

  • 1CO_14:11 Therefore if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh [shall be] a barbarian unto me.

  • 1CO_14:12 Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual [gifts], seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.

  • 1CO_14:13 Wherefore let him that speaketh in an [unknown] tongue pray that he may interpret.

  • 1CO_14:14 For if I pray in an [unknown] tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.

  • 1CO_14:15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

  • 1CO_14:16 Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?

  • 1CO_14:17 For thou verily givest thanks well, but the other is not edified.

  • 1CO_14:18 I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:

  • 1CO_14:19 Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that [by my voice] I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an [unknown] tongue.

  • 1CO_14:20 Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.

  • 1CO_14:21 In the law it is written, With [men of] other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord.

  • 1CO_14:22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying [serveth] not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.

  • PSA_105:30 Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.

  • PSA_105:31 He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies, [and] lice in all their coasts.

  • PSA_105:32 He gave them hail for rain, [and] flaming fire in their land.

  • PSA_105:33 He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.

  • PSA_105:34 He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillars, and that without number,

  • PSA_105:35 And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.

  • PSA_105:36 He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.

  • PSA_105:37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and [there was] not one feeble [person] among their tribes.

  • PRO_23:11 For their redeemer [is] mighty; he shall plead their cause with thee.

  • LUKJ_20:10 And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent [him] away empty.

  • LUKJ_20:11 And again he sent another servant: and they beat him also, and entreated [him] shamefully, and sent [him] away empty.

  • LUKJ_20:12 And again he sent a third: and they wounded him also, and cast [him] out.

  • LUKJ_20:13 Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence [him] when they see him.

  • LUKJ_20:14 But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.
