Daily Devotional 1 Year Bible ISA_15:4 And Heshbon shall cry, and Elealeh: their voice shall be heard [even] unto Jahaz: therefore the armed soldiers of Moab shall cry out; his life shall be grievous unto him.
ISA_15:5 My heart shall cry out for Moab; his fugitives [shall flee] unto Zoar, an heifer of three years old: for by the mounting up of Luhith with weeping shall they go it up; for in the way of Horonaim they shall raise up a cry of destruction.
ISA_15:6 For the waters of Nimrim shall be desolate: for the hay is withered away, the grass faileth, there is no green thing.
ISA_15:7 Therefore the abundance they have gotten, and that which they have laid up, shall they carry away to the brook of the willows.
ISA_15:8 For the cry is gone round about the borders of Moab; the howling thereof unto Eglaim, and the howling thereof unto Beerelim.
ISA_15:9 For the waters of Dimon shall be full of blood: for I will bring more upon Dimon, lions upon him that escapeth of Moab, and upon the remnant of the land.
ISA_16:1 Send ye the lamb to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion.
ISA_16:2 For it shall be, [that], as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, [so] the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.
ISA_16:3 Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not him that wandereth.
ISA_16:4 Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.
ISA_16:5 And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.
ISA_16:6 We have heard of the pride of Moab; [he is] very proud: [even] of his haughtiness, and his pride, and his wrath: [but] his lies [shall] not [be] so.
ISA_16:7 Therefore shall Moab howl for Moab, every one shall howl: for the foundations of Kirhareseth shall ye mourn; surely [they are] stricken.
ISA_16:8 For the fields of Heshbon languish, [and] the vine of Sibmah: the lords of the heathen have broken down the principal plants thereof, they are come [even] unto Jazer, they wandered [through] the wilderness: her branches are stretched out, they are gone over the sea.
ISA_16:9 Therefore I will bewail with the weeping of Jazer the vine of Sibmah: I will water thee with my tears, O Heshbon, and Elealeh: for the shouting for thy summer fruits and for thy harvest is fallen.
ISA_16:10 And gladness is taken away, and joy out of the plentiful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no singing, neither shall there be shouting: the treaders shall tread out no wine in [their] presses; I have made [their vintage] shouting to cease.
ISA_16:11 Wherefore my bowels shall sound like an harp for Moab, and mine inward parts for Kirharesh.
ISA_16:12 And it shall come to pass, when it is seen that Moab is weary on the high place, that he shall come to his sanctuary to pray; but he shall not prevail.
ISA_16:13 This [is] the word that the LORD hath spoken concerning Moab since that time.
ISA_16:14 But now the LORD hath spoken, saying, Within three years, as the years of an hireling, and the glory of Moab shall be contemned, with all that great multitude; and the remnant [shall be] very small [and] feeble.
ISA_17:1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from [being] a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.
ISA_17:2 The cities of Aroer [are] forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make [them] afraid.
ISA_17:3 The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the LORD of hosts.
ISA_17:4 And in that day it shall come to pass, [that] the glory of Jacob shall be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall wax lean.
ISA_17:5 And it shall be as when the harvestman gathereth the corn, and reapeth the ears with his arm; and it shall be as he that gathereth ears in the valley of Rephaim.
ISA_17:6 Yet gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the shaking of an olive tree, two [or] three berries in the top of the uppermost bough, four [or] five in the outmost fruitful branches thereof, saith the LORD God of Israel.
ISA_17:7 At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel.
ISA_17:8 And he shall not look to the altars, the work of his hands, neither shall respect [that] which his fingers have made, either the groves, or the images.
ISA_17:9 In that day shall his strong cities be as a forsaken bough, and an uppermost branch, which they left because of the children of Israel: and there shall be desolation.
ISA_17:10 Because thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength, therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it with strange slips:
ISA_17:11 In the day shalt thou make thy plant to grow, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish: [but] the harvest [shall be] a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow.
ISA_17:12 Woe to the multitude of many people, [which] make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, [that] make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters!
ISA_17:13 The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but [God] shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.
ISA_17:14 And behold at eveningtide trouble; [and] before the morning he [is] not. This [is] the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us.
ISA_18:1 Woe to the land shadowing with wings, which [is] beyond the rivers of Ethiopia:
ISA_18:2 That sendeth ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of bulrushes upon the waters, [saying], Go, ye swift messengers, to a nation scattered and peeled, to a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden down, whose land the rivers have spoiled!
ISA_18:3 All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains; and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye.
ISA_18:4 For so the LORD said unto me, I will take my rest, and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs, [and] like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.
ISA_18:5 For afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and take away [and] cut down the branches.
ISA_18:6 They shall be left together unto the fowls of the mountains, and to the beasts of the earth: and the fowls shall summer upon them, and all the beasts of the earth shall winter upon them.
ISA_18:7 In that time shall the present be brought unto the LORD of hosts of a people scattered and peeled, and from a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden under foot, whose land the rivers have spoiled, to the place of the name of the LORD of hosts, the mount Zion.
ISA_19:1 The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.
ISA_19:2 And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, [and] kingdom against kingdom.
ISA_19:3 And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.
ISA_19:4 And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts.
ISA_19:5 And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up.
ISA_19:6 And they shall turn the rivers far away; [and] the brooks of defence shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither.
ISA_19:7 The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no [more].
1CO_15:30 And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?
1CO_15:31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
1CO_15:32 If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.
1CO_15:33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
1CO_15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak [this] to your shame.
1CO_15:35 But some [man] will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
1CO_15:36 [Thou] fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
1CO_15:37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other [grain]:
1CO_15:38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
1CO_15:39 All flesh [is] not the same flesh: but [there is] one [kind of] flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, [and] another of birds.
1CO_15:40 [There are] also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial [is] one, and the [glory] of the terrestrial [is] another.
1CO_15:41 [There is] one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for [one] star differeth from [another] star in glory.
1CO_15:42 So also [is] the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
1CO_15:43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
1CO_15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
1CO_15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam [was made] a quickening spirit.
1CO_15:46 Howbeit that [was] not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
1CO_15:47 The first man [is] of the earth, earthy: the second man [is] the Lord from heaven.
1CO_15:48 As [is] the earthy, such [are] they also that are earthy: and as [is] the heavenly, such [are] they also that are heavenly.
1CO_15:49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
1CO_15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
1CO_15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1CO_15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
PSA_106:8 Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.
PSA_106:9 He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.
PSA_106:10 And he saved them from the hand of him that hated [them], and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
PSA_106:11 And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.
PSA_106:12 Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.
PSA_106:13 They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:
PSA_106:14 But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.
PSA_106:15 And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.
PRO_23:17 Let not thine heart envy sinners: but [be thou] in the fear of the LORD all the day long.
PRO_23:18 For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.
PRO_23:19 Hear thou, my son, and be wise, and guide thine heart in the way.
LUKJ_20:41 How say they that Christ is David's son?
LUKJ_20:42 And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
LUKJ_20:43 Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.
LUKJ_20:44 David therefore calleth him Lord, how is he then his son?
LUKJ_20:46 Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;
LUKJ_20:47 Which devour widows' houses, and for a show make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.
