Daily Devotional 1 Year Bible ISA_32:14 Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks; ISA_32:15 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest. ISA_32:16 Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field. ISA_32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. ISA_32:18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places; ISA_32:19 When it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place. ISA_32:20 Blessed [are] ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth [thither] the feet of the ox and the ass. ISA_33:1 Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou [wast] not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; [and] when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee. ISA_33:2 O LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble. ISA_33:3 At the noise of the tumult the people fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations were scattered. ISA_33:4 And your spoil shall be gathered [like] the gathering of the caterpillar: as the running to and fro of locusts shall he run upon them. ISA_33:5 The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness. ISA_33:6 And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, [and] strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD [is] his treasure. ISA_33:7 Behold, their valiant ones shall cry without: the ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly. ISA_33:8 The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceaseth: he hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man. ISA_33:9 The earth mourneth [and] languisheth: Lebanon is ashamed [and] hewn down: Sharon is like a wilderness; and Bashan and Carmel shake off [their fruits]. ISA_33:10 Now will I rise, saith the LORD; now will I be exalted; now will I lift up myself. ISA_33:11 Ye shall conceive chaff, ye shall bring forth stubble: your breath, [as] fire, shall devour you. ISA_33:12 And the people shall be [as] the burnings of lime: [as] thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire. ISA_33:13 Hear, ye [that are] far off, what I have done; and, ye [that are] near, acknowledge my might. ISA_33:14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? ISA_33:15 He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil; ISA_33:16 He shall dwell on high: his place of defence [shall be] the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters [shall be] sure. ISA_33:17 Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off. ISA_33:18 Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where [is] the scribe? where [is] the receiver? where [is] he that counted the towers? ISA_33:19 Thou shalt not see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst perceive; of a stammering tongue, [that thou canst] not understand. ISA_33:20 Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle [that] shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken. ISA_33:21 But there the glorious LORD [will be] unto us a place of broad rivers [and] streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby. ISA_33:22 For the LORD [is] our judge, the LORD [is] our lawgiver, the LORD [is] our king; he will save us. ISA_33:23 Thy tacklings are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey. ISA_33:24 And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein [shall be] forgiven [their] iniquity. ISA_34:1 Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it. ISA_34:2 For the indignation of the LORD [is] upon all nations, and [his] fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter. ISA_34:3 Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood. ISA_34:4 And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling [fig] from the fig tree. ISA_34:5 For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment. ISA_34:6 The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, [and] with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea. ISA_34:7 And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness. ISA_34:8 For [it is] the day of the LORD's vengeance, [and] the year of recompenses for the controversy of Zion. ISA_34:9 And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch. ISA_34:10 It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever. ISA_34:11 But the cormorant and the bittern shall possess it; the owl also and the raven shall dwell in it: and he shall stretch out upon it the line of confusion, and the stones of emptiness. ISA_34:12 They shall call the nobles thereof to the kingdom, but none [shall be] there, and all her princes shall be nothing. ISA_34:13 And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, [and] a court for owls. ISA_34:14 The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest. ISA_34:15 There shall the great owl make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow: there shall the vultures also be gathered, every one with her mate. ISA_34:16 Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them. ISA_34:17 And he hath cast the lot for them, and his hand hath divided it unto them by line: they shall possess it for ever, from generation to generation shall they dwell therein. ISA_35:1 The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. ISA_35:2 It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, [and] the excellency of our God. ISA_35:3 Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. ISA_35:4 Say to them [that are] of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come [with] vengeance, [even] God [with] a recompense; he will come and save you. ISA_35:5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. ISA_35:6 Then shall the lame [man] leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. ISA_35:7 And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, [shall be] grass with reeds and rushes. 2CO_5:5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing [is] God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. 2CO_5:6 Therefore [we are] always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 2CO_5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 2CO_5:8 We are confident, [I say], and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 2CO_5:9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. 2CO_5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things [done] in [his] body, according to that he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad. 2CO_5:11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences. 2CO_5:12 For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to [answer] them which glory in appearance, and not in heart. 2CO_5:13 For whether we be beside ourselves, [it is] to God: or whether we be sober, [it is] for your cause. 2CO_5:14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: 2CO_5:15 And [that] he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. 2CO_5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we [him] no more. 2CO_5:17 Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2CO_5:18 And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 2CO_5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 2CO_5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech [you] by us: we pray [you] in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. 2CO_5:21 For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2CO_6:1 We then, [as] workers together [with him], beseech [you] also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. 2CO_6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now [is] the accepted time; behold, now [is] the day of salvation.) 2CO_6:3 Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed: 2CO_6:4 But in all [things] approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, PSA_107:4 They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in. PSA_107:5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. PSA_107:6 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, [and] he delivered them out of their distresses. PSA_107:7 And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation. PSA_107:8 Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men! PSA_107:9 For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. PSA_107:10 Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, [being] bound in affliction and iron; PRO_23:32 At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder. PRO_23:33 Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things. PRO_23:34 Yea, thou shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst of the sea, or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast. LUKJ_21:32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. LUKJ_21:33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. LUKJ_21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and [so] that day come upon you unawares. LUKJ_21:35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. LUKJ_21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
