Daily Devotional 1 Year Bible EXO_13:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
EXO_13:2 Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Israel, [both] of man and of beast: it [is] mine.
EXO_13:3 And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this [place]: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.
EXO_13:4 This day came ye out in the month Abib.
EXO_13:5 And it shall be when the LORD shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month.
EXO_13:6 Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day [shall be] a feast to the LORD.
EXO_13:7 Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with thee, neither shall there be leaven seen with thee in all thy quarters.
EXO_13:8 And thou shalt show thy son in that day, saying, [This is done] because of that [which] the LORD did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt.
EXO_13:9 And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the LORD's law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the LORD brought thee out of Egypt.
EXO_13:10 Thou shalt therefore keep this ordinance in his season from year to year.
EXO_13:11 And it shall be when the LORD shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, as he sware unto thee and to thy fathers, and shall give it thee,
EXO_13:12 That thou shalt set apart unto the LORD all that openeth the matrix, and every firstling that cometh of a beast which thou hast; the males [shall be] the LORD'S.
EXO_13:13 And every firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb; and if thou wilt not redeem it, then thou shalt break his neck: and all the firstborn of man among thy children shalt thou redeem.
EXO_13:14 And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What [is] this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:
EXO_13:15 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the LORD slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: therefore I sacrifice to the LORD all that openeth the matrix, being males; but all the firstborn of my children I redeem.
EXO_13:16 And it shall be for a token upon thine hand, and for frontlets between thine eyes: for by strength of hand the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt.
EXO_13:17 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not [through] the way of the land of the Philistines, although that [was] near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:
EXO_13:18 But God led the people about, [through] the way of the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt.
EXO_13:19 And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him: for he had straitly sworn the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away hence with you.
EXO_13:20 And they took their journey from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness.
EXO_13:21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:
EXO_13:22 He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, [from] before the people.
EXO_14:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
EXO_14:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baalzephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea.
EXO_14:3 For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They [are] entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in.
EXO_14:4 And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I [am] the LORD. And they did so.
EXO_14:5 And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?
EXO_14:6 And he made ready his chariot, and took his people with him:
EXO_14:7 And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them.
EXO_14:8 And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand.
EXO_14:9 But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses [and] chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.
EXO_14:10 And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD.
EXO_14:11 And they said unto Moses, Because [there were] no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?
EXO_14:12 [Is] not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For [it had been] better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.
EXO_14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
EXO_14:14 The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
EXO_14:15 And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:
EXO_14:16 But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry [ground] through the midst of the sea.
EXO_14:17 And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.
EXO_14:18 And the Egyptians shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.
EXO_14:19 And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:
EXO_14:20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness [to them], but it gave light by night [to these]: so that the one came not near the other all the night.
EXO_14:21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go [back] by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry [land], and the waters were divided.
EXO_14:22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry [ground]: and the waters [were] a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.
EXO_14:23 And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, [even] all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.
EXO_14:24 And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,
EXO_14:25 And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians.
EXO_14:26 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.
EXO_14:27 And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.
EXO_14:28 And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, [and] all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.
EXO_14:29 But the children of Israel walked upon dry [land] in the midst of the sea; and the waters [were] a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.
MAT_20:21 And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.
MAT_20:22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.
MAT_20:23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but [it shall be given to them] for whom it is prepared of my Father.
MAT_20:24 And when the ten heard [it], they were moved with indignation against the two brethren.
MAT_20:25 But Jesus called them [unto him], and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.
MAT_20:26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
MAT_20:27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
MAT_20:28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
MAT_20:29 And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.
MAT_20:30 And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, [thou] son of David.
MAT_20:31 And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, [thou] son of David.
MAT_20:32 And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?
MAT_20:33 They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.
MAT_20:34 So Jesus had compassion [on them], and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
MAT_21:1 And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,
MAT_21:2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose [them], and bring [them] unto me.
MAT_21:3 And if any [man] say aught unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.
MAT_21:4 All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,
MAT_21:5 Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.
MAT_21:6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,
MAT_21:7 And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set [him] thereon.
PSA_18:16 He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.
PSA_18:17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.
PSA_18:18 They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.
PSA_18:19 He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
PSA_18:20 The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
PSA_18:21 For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
PSA_18:22 For all his judgments [were] before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me.
PRO_3:30 Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no harm.
PRO_3:31 Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways.
PRO_3:32 For the froward [is] abomination to the LORD: but his secret [is] with the righteous.
MATJ_10:37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
MATJ_10:38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
MATJ_10:39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
MATJ_10:40 He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
MATJ_10:41 He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.
