Daily Devotional 1 Year Bible GEN_27:28 Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine:
GEN_27:29 Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother's sons bow down to thee: cursed [be] every one that curseth thee, and blessed [be] he that blesseth thee.
GEN_27:30 And it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessing Jacob, and Jacob was yet scarce gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting.
GEN_27:31 And he also had made savoury meat, and brought it unto his father, and said unto his father, Let my father arise, and eat of his son's venison, that thy soul may bless me.
GEN_27:32 And Isaac his father said unto him, Who [art] thou? And he said, I [am] thy son, thy firstborn Esau.
GEN_27:33 And Isaac trembled very exceedingly, and said, Who? where [is] he that hath taken venison, and brought [it] me, and I have eaten of all before thou camest, and have blessed him? yea, [and] he shall be blessed.
GEN_27:34 And when Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with a great and exceeding bitter cry, and said unto his father, Bless me, [even] me also, O my father.
GEN_27:35 And he said, Thy brother came with subtlety, and hath taken away thy blessing.
GEN_27:36 And he said, Is not he rightly named Jacob? for he hath supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he hath taken away my blessing. And he said, Hast thou not reserved a blessing for me?
GEN_27:37 And Isaac answered and said unto Esau, Behold, I have made him thy lord, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with corn and wine have I sustained him: and what shall I do now unto thee, my son?
GEN_27:38 And Esau said unto his father, Hast thou but one blessing, my father? bless me, [even] me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.
GEN_27:39 And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above;
GEN_27:40 And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.
GEN_27:41 And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob.
GEN_27:42 And these words of Esau her elder son were told to Rebekah: and she sent and called Jacob her younger son, and said unto him, Behold, thy brother Esau, as touching thee, doth comfort himself, [purposing] to kill thee.
GEN_27:43 Now therefore, my son, obey my voice; and arise, flee thou to Laban my brother to Haran;
GEN_27:44 And tarry with him a few days, until thy brother's fury turn away;
GEN_27:45 Until thy brother's anger turn away from thee, and he forget [that] which thou hast done to him: then I will send, and fetch thee from thence: why should I be deprived also of you both in one day?
GEN_27:46 And Rebekah said to Isaac, I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth: if Jacob take a wife of the daughters of Heth, such as these [which are] of the daughters of the land, what good shall my life do me?
GEN_28:1 And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him, and charged him, and said unto him, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.
GEN_28:2 Arise, go to Padanaram, to the house of Bethuel thy mother's father; and take thee a wife from thence of the daughters of Laban thy mother's brother.
GEN_28:3 And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people;
GEN_28:4 And give thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger, which God gave unto Abraham.
GEN_28:5 And Isaac sent away Jacob: and he went to Padanaram unto Laban, son of Bethuel the Syrian, the brother of Rebekah, Jacob's and Esau's mother.
GEN_28:6 When Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob, and sent him away to Padanaram, to take him a wife from thence; and that as he blessed him he gave him a charge, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan;
GEN_28:7 And that Jacob obeyed his father and his mother, and was gone to Padanaram;
GEN_28:8 And Esau seeing that the daughters of Canaan pleased not Isaac his father;
GEN_28:9 Then went Esau unto Ishmael, and took unto the wives which he had Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael Abraham's son, the sister of Nebajoth, to be his wife.
GEN_28:10 And Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran.
GEN_28:11 And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put [them for] his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep.
GEN_28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.
GEN_28:13 And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I [am] the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;
GEN_28:14 And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
GEN_28:15 And, behold, I [am] with thee, and will keep thee in all [places] whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done [that] which I have spoken to thee of.
GEN_28:16 And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew [it] not.
GEN_28:17 And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful [is] this place! this [is] none other but the house of God, and this [is] the gate of heaven.
GEN_28:18 And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put [for] his pillows, and set it up [for] a pillar, and poured oil upon the top of it.
GEN_28:19 And he called the name of that place Bethel: but the name of that city [was called] Luz at the first.
GEN_28:20 And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on,
GEN_28:21 So that I come again to my father's house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God:
GEN_28:22 And this stone, which I have set [for] a pillar, shall be God's house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.
GEN_29:1 Then Jacob went on his journey, and came into the land of the people of the east.
GEN_29:2 And he looked, and behold a well in the field, and, lo, there [were] three flocks of sheep lying by it; for out of that well they watered the flocks: and a great stone [was] upon the well's mouth.
GEN_29:3 And thither were all the flocks gathered: and they rolled the stone from the well's mouth, and watered the sheep, and put the stone again upon the well's mouth in his place.
GEN_29:4 And Jacob said unto them, My brethren, whence [be] ye? And they said, Of Haran [are] we.
GEN_29:5 And he said unto them, Know ye Laban the son of Nahor? And they said, We know [him].
GEN_29:6 And he said unto them, [Is] he well? And they said, [He is] well: and, behold, Rachel his daughter cometh with the sheep.
GEN_29:7 And he said, Lo, [it is] yet high day, neither [is it] time that the cattle should be gathered together: water ye the sheep, and go [and] feed [them].
GEN_29:8 And they said, We cannot, until all the flocks be gathered together, and [till] they roll the stone from the well's mouth; then we water the sheep.
GEN_29:9 And while he yet spake with them, Rachel came with her father's sheep: for she kept them.
GEN_29:10 And it came to pass, when Jacob saw Rachel the daughter of Laban his mother's brother, and the sheep of Laban his mother's brother, that Jacob went near, and rolled the stone from the well's mouth, and watered the flock of Laban his mother's brother.
GEN_29:11 And Jacob kissed Rachel, and lifted up his voice, and wept.
GEN_29:12 And Jacob told Rachel that he [was] her father's brother, and that he [was] Rebekah's son: and she ran and told her father.
GEN_29:13 And it came to pass, when Laban heard the tidings of Jacob his sister's son, that he ran to meet him, and embraced him, and kissed him, and brought him to his house. And he told Laban all these things.
MAT_9:25 But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.
MAT_9:26 And the fame hereof went abroad into all that land.
MAT_9:27 And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, [Thou] son of David, have mercy on us.
MAT_9:28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
MAT_9:29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.
MAT_9:30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See [that] no man know [it].
MAT_9:31 But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country.
MAT_9:32 As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a devil.
MAT_9:33 And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.
MAT_9:34 But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils.
MAT_9:35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
MAT_9:36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
MAT_9:37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly [is] plenteous, but the labourers [are] few;
MAT_9:38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
MAT_10:1 And when he had called unto [him] his twelve disciples, he gave them power [against] unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
MAT_10:2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James [the son] of Zebedee, and John his brother;
MAT_10:3 Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James [the son] of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;
MAT_10:4 Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
MAT_10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into [any] city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
MAT_10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
MAT_10:7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
MAT_10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
MAT_10:9 Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,
MAT_10:10 Nor scrip for [your] journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.
PSA_8:4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
PSA_8:5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
PSA_8:6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all [things] under his feet:
PSA_8:7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
PSA_8:8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, [and whatsoever] passeth through the paths of the seas.
PSA_8:9 O LORD our Lord, how excellent [is] thy name in all the earth!
PSA_9:1 To the chief Musician upon Muthlabben, A Psalm of David. I will praise [thee], O LORD, with my whole heart; I will show forth all thy marvellous works.
PRO_1:32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.
PRO_1:33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
MATJ_6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
MATJ_6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
MATJ_6:16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
MATJ_6:17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;
MATJ_6:18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
