NUM_29:34 And one goat [for] a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, his meat offering, and his drink offering.
NUM_29:35 On the eighth day ye shall have a solemn assembly: ye shall do no servile work [therein]:
NUM_29:36 But ye shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD: one bullock, one ram, seven lambs of the first year without blemish:
NUM_29:37 Their meat offering and their drink offerings for the bullock, for the ram, and for the lambs, [shall be] according to their number, after the manner:
NUM_29:38 And one goat [for] a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, and his meat offering, and his drink offering.
NUM_29:39 These [things] ye shall do unto the LORD in your set feasts, beside your vows, and your freewill offerings, for your burnt offerings, and for your meat offerings, and for your drink offerings, and for your peace offerings.
NUM_29:40 And Moses told the children of Israel according to all that the LORD commanded Moses.
NUM_30:1 And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This [is] the thing which the LORD hath commanded.
NUM_30:2 If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.
NUM_30:3 If a woman also vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind [herself] by a bond, [being] in her father's house in her youth;
NUM_30:4 And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.
NUM_30:5 But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the LORD shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her.
NUM_30:6 And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul;
NUM_30:7 And her husband heard [it], and held his peace at her in the day that he heard [it]: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
NUM_30:8 But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard [it]; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the LORD shall forgive her.
NUM_30:9 But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her.
NUM_30:10 And if she vowed in her husband's house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath;
NUM_30:11 And her husband heard [it], and held his peace at her, [and] disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
NUM_30:12 But if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heard [them; then] whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the LORD shall forgive her.
NUM_30:13 Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.
NUM_30:14 But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which [are] upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard [them].
NUM_30:15 But if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard [them]; then he shall bear her iniquity.
NUM_30:16 These [are] the statutes, which the LORD commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, [being yet] in her youth in her father's house.
NUM_31:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
NUM_31:2 Avenge the children of Israel of the Midianites: afterward shalt thou be gathered unto thy people.
NUM_31:3 And Moses spake unto the people, saying, Arm some of yourselves unto the war, and let them go against the Midianites, and avenge the LORD of Midian.
NUM_31:4 Of every tribe a thousand, throughout all the tribes of Israel, shall ye send to the war.
NUM_31:5 So there were delivered out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand of [every] tribe, twelve thousand armed for war.
NUM_31:6 And Moses sent them to the war, a thousand of [every] tribe, them and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war, with the holy instruments, and the trumpets to blow in his hand.
NUM_31:7 And they warred against the Midianites, as the LORD commanded Moses; and they slew all the males.
NUM_31:8 And they slew the kings of Midian, beside the rest of them that were slain; [namely], Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, five kings of Midian: Balaam also the son of Beor they slew with the sword.
NUM_31:9 And the children of Israel took [all] the women of Midian captives, and their little ones, and took the spoil of all their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods.
NUM_31:10 And they burnt all their cities wherein they dwelt, and all their goodly castles, with fire.
NUM_31:11 And they took all the spoil, and all the prey, [both] of men and of beasts.
NUM_31:12 And they brought the captives, and the prey, and the spoil, unto Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and unto the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the camp at the plains of Moab, which [are] by Jordan [near] Jericho.
NUM_31:13 And Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and all the princes of the congregation, went forth to meet them without the camp.
NUM_31:14 And Moses was wroth with the officers of the host, [with] the captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, which came from the battle.
NUM_31:15 And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive?
NUM_31:16 Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD.
NUM_31:17 Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.
NUM_31:18 But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.
NUM_31:19 And do ye abide without the camp seven days: whosoever hath killed any person, and whosoever hath touched any slain, purify [both] yourselves and your captives on the third day, and on the seventh day.
NUM_31:20 And purify all [your] raiment, and all that is made of skins, and all work of goats' [hair], and all things made of wood.
NUM_31:21 And Eleazar the priest said unto the men of war which went to the battle, This [is] the ordinance of the law which the LORD commanded Moses;
MAR_16:19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
MAR_16:20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with [them], and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
LUK_1:1 Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us,
LUK_1:2 Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word;
LUK_1:3 It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus,
LUK_1:4 That thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed.
LUK_1:5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife [was] of the daughters of Aaron, and her name [was] Elisabeth.
LUK_1:6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
LUK_1:7 And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were [now] well stricken in years.
LUK_1:8 And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest's office before God in the order of his course,
LUK_1:9 According to the custom of the priest's office, his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord.
LUK_1:10 And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time of incense.
LUK_1:11 And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.
LUK_1:12 And when Zacharias saw [him], he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.
LUK_1:13 But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.
LUK_1:14 And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth.
LUK_1:15 For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.
LUK_1:16 And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God.
LUK_1:17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.
LUK_1:18 And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.
LUK_1:19 And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.
PSA_37:7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
PSA_37:8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.
PSA_37:9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.
PSA_37:10 For yet a little while, and the wicked [shall] not [be]: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it [shall] not [be].
PSA_37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
PSA_37:12 The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.
PRO_8:14 Counsel [is] mine, and sound wisdom: I [am] understanding; I have strength.
PRO_8:15 By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.
PRO_8:16 By me princes rule, and nobles, [even] all the judges of the earth.
MATJ_21:31 Whether of them twain did the will of [his] father? Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.
MATJ_21:32 For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen [it], repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.
MATJ_21:33 Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:
