  • JOB_31:14 What then shall I do when God riseth up? and when he visiteth, what shall I answer him?

  • JOB_31:15 Did not he that made me in the womb make him? and did not one fashion us in the womb?

  • JOB_31:16 If I have withheld the poor from [their] desire, or have caused the eyes of the widow to fail;

  • JOB_31:17 Or have eaten my morsel myself alone, and the fatherless hath not eaten thereof;

  • JOB_31:18 (For from my youth he was brought up with me, as [with] a father, and I have guided her from my mother's womb;)

  • JOB_31:19 If I have seen any perish for want of clothing, or any poor without covering;

  • JOB_31:20 If his loins have not blessed me, and [if] he were [not] warmed with the fleece of my sheep;

  • JOB_31:21 If I have lifted up my hand against the fatherless, when I saw my help in the gate:

  • JOB_31:22 [Then] let mine arm fall from my shoulder blade, and mine arm be broken from the bone.

  • JOB_31:23 For destruction [from] God [was] a terror to me, and by reason of his highness I could not endure.

  • JOB_31:24 If I have made gold my hope, or have said to the fine gold, [Thou art] my confidence;

  • JOB_31:25 If I rejoiced because my wealth [was] great, and because mine hand had gotten much;

  • JOB_31:26 If I beheld the sun when it shined, or the moon walking [in] brightness;

  • JOB_31:27 And my heart hath been secretly enticed, or my mouth hath kissed my hand:

  • JOB_31:28 This also [were] an iniquity [to be punished by] the judge: for I should have denied the God [that is] above.

  • JOB_31:29 If I rejoiced at the destruction of him that hated me, or lifted up myself when evil found him:

  • JOB_31:30 Neither have I suffered my mouth to sin by wishing a curse to his soul.

  • JOB_31:31 If the men of my tabernacle said not, Oh that we had of his flesh! we cannot be satisfied.

  • JOB_31:32 The stranger did not lodge in the street: [but] I opened my doors to the traveller.

  • JOB_31:33 If I covered my transgressions as Adam, by hiding mine iniquity in my bosom:

  • JOB_31:34 Did I fear a great multitude, or did the contempt of families terrify me, that I kept silence, [and] went not out of the door?

  • JOB_31:35 Oh that one would hear me! behold, my desire [is, that] the Almighty would answer me, and [that] mine adversary had written a book.

  • JOB_31:36 Surely I would take it upon my shoulder, [and] bind it [as] a crown to me.

  • JOB_31:37 I would declare unto him the number of my steps; as a prince would I go near unto him.

  • JOB_31:38 If my land cry against me, or that the furrows likewise thereof complain;

  • JOB_31:39 If I have eaten the fruits thereof without money, or have caused the owners thereof to lose their life:

  • JOB_31:40 Let thistles grow instead of wheat, and cockle instead of barley. The words of Job are ended.

  • JOB_32:1 So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he [was] righteous in his own eyes.

  • JOB_32:2 Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.

  • JOB_32:3 Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and [yet] had condemned Job.

  • JOB_32:4 Now Elihu had waited till Job had spoken, because they [were] elder than he.

  • JOB_32:5 When Elihu saw that [there was] no answer in the mouth of [these] three men, then his wrath was kindled.

  • JOB_32:6 And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I [am] young, and ye [are] very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not show you mine opinion.

  • JOB_32:7 I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.

  • JOB_32:8 But [there is] a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

  • JOB_32:9 Great men are not [always] wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

  • JOB_32:10 Therefore I said, Hearken to me; I also will show mine opinion.

  • JOB_32:11 Behold, I waited for your words; I gave ear to your reasons, whilst ye searched out what to say.

  • JOB_32:12 Yea, I attended unto you, and, behold, [there was] none of you that convinced Job, [or] that answered his words:

  • JOB_32:13 Lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusteth him down, not man.

  • JOB_32:14 Now he hath not directed [his] words against me: neither will I answer him with your speeches.

  • JOB_32:15 They were amazed, they answered no more: they left off speaking.

  • JOB_32:16 When I had waited, (for they spake not, but stood still, [and] answered no more;)

  • JOB_32:17 [I said], I will answer also my part, I also will show mine opinion.

  • JOB_32:18 For I am full of matter, the spirit within me constraineth me.

  • JOB_32:19 Behold, my belly [is] as wine [which] hath no vent; it is ready to burst like new bottles.

  • JOB_32:20 I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.

  • JOB_32:21 Let me not, I pray you, accept any man's person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.

  • JOB_32:22 For I know not to give flattering titles; [in so doing] my maker would soon take me away.

  • JOB_33:1 Wherefore, Job, I pray thee, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words.

  • JOB_33:2 Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth.

  • JOB_33:3 My words [shall be of] the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.

  • JOB_33:4 The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

  • JOB_33:5 If thou canst answer me, set [thy words] in order before me, stand up.

  • JOB_33:6 Behold, I [am] according to thy wish in God's stead: I also am formed out of the clay.

  • JOB_33:7 Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee.

  • JOB_33:8 Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of [thy] words, [saying],

  • JOB_33:9 I am clean without transgression, I [am] innocent; neither [is there] iniquity in me.

  • JOB_33:10 Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy,

  • JOB_33:11 He putteth my feet in the stocks, he marketh all my paths.

  • JOB_33:12 Behold, [in] this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.

  • JOB_33:13 Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters.

  • JOB_33:14 For God speaketh once, yea twice, [yet man] perceiveth it not.

  • JOB_33:15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;

  • JOB_33:16 Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,

  • JOB_33:17 That he may withdraw man [from his] purpose, and hide pride from man.

  • JOB_33:18 He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.

  • JOB_33:19 He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong [pain]:

  • JOB_33:20 So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat.

  • JOB_33:21 His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones [that] were not seen stick out.

  • JOB_33:22 Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers.

  • JOB_33:23 If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to show unto man his uprightness:

  • JOB_33:24 Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.

  • JOB_33:25 His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth:

  • JOB_33:26 He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.

  • JOB_33:27 He looketh upon men, and [if any] say, I have sinned, and perverted [that which was] right, and it profited me not;

  • JOB_33:28 He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.

  • JOB_33:29 Lo, all these [things] worketh God oftentimes with man,

  • JOB_33:30 To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.

  • JOB_33:31 Mark well, O Job, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I will speak.

  • JOB_33:32 If thou hast any thing to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify thee.

  • JOB_33:33 If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom.

  • JOB_34:1 Furthermore Elihu answered and said,

  • JOB_34:2 Hear my words, O ye wise [men]; and give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge.

  • JOB_34:3 For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat.

  • 1CO_3:4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I [am] of Apollos; are ye not carnal?

  • 1CO_3:5 Who then is Paul, and who [is] Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?

  • 1CO_3:6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

  • 1CO_3:7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

  • 1CO_3:8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

  • 1CO_3:9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, [ye are] God's building.

  • 1CO_3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

  • 1CO_3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

  • 1CO_3:12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

  • 1CO_3:13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

  • 1CO_3:14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

  • 1CO_3:15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

  • 1CO_3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

  • 1CO_3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which [temple] ye are.

  • 1CO_3:18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

  • 1CO_3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

  • 1CO_3:20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

  • 1CO_3:21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;

  • 1CO_3:22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;

  • 1CO_3:23 And ye are Christ's; and Christ [is] God's.

  • 1CO_4:1 Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.

  • 1CO_4:2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

  • 1CO_4:3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.

  • 1CO_4:4 For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.

  • 1CO_4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

  • PSA_102:25 Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens [are] the work of thy hands.

  • PSA_102:26 They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:

  • PSA_102:27 But thou [art] the same, and thy years shall have no end.

  • PSA_102:28 The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee.

  • PSA_103:1 [A Psalm] of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, [bless] his holy name.

  • PSA_103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

  • PSA_103:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

  • PRO_22:10 Cast out the scorner, and contention shall go out; yea, strife and reproach shall cease.

  • PRO_22:11 He that loveth pureness of heart, [for] the grace of his lips the king [shall be] his friend.

  • LUKJ_17:28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

  • LUKJ_17:29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed [them] all.

  • LUKJ_17:30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

  • LUKJ_17:31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

  • LUKJ_17:32 Remember Lot's wife.

  • LUKJ_17:33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
