JOB_42:16 After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, [even] four generations.

JOB_42:17 So Job died, [being] old and full of days.

ECC_1:1 The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem.

ECC_1:2 Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all [is] vanity.

ECC_1:3 What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?

ECC_1:4 [One] generation passeth away, and [another] generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.

ECC_1:5 The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose.

ECC_1:6 The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it whirleth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to his circuits.

ECC_1:7 All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea [is] not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.

ECC_1:8 All things [are] full of labour; man cannot utter [it]: the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing.

ECC_1:9 The thing that hath been, it [is that] which shall be; and that which is done [is] that which shall be done: and [there is] no new [thing] under the sun.

ECC_1:10 Is there [any] thing whereof it may be said, See, this [is] new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

ECC_1:11 [There is] no remembrance of former [things]; neither shall there be [any] remembrance of [things] that are to come with [those] that shall come after.

ECC_1:12 I the Preacher was king over Israel in Jerusalem.

ECC_1:13 And I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all [things] that are done under heaven: this sore travail hath God given to the sons of man to be exercised therewith.

ECC_1:14 I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all [is] vanity and vexation of spirit.

ECC_1:15 [That which is] crooked cannot be made straight: and that which is wanting cannot be numbered.

ECC_1:16 I communed with mine own heart, saying, Lo, I am come to great estate, and have gotten more wisdom than all [they] that have been before me in Jerusalem: yea, my heart had great experience of wisdom and knowledge.

ECC_1:17 And I gave my heart to know wisdom, and to know madness and folly: I perceived that this also is vexation of spirit.

ECC_1:18 For in much wisdom [is] much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.

ECC_2:1 I said in mine heart, Go to now, I will prove thee with mirth, therefore enjoy pleasure: and, behold, this also [is] vanity.

ECC_2:2 I said of laughter, [It is] mad: and of mirth, What doeth it?

ECC_2:3 I sought in mine heart to give myself unto wine, yet acquainting mine heart with wisdom; and to lay hold on folly, till I might see what [was] that good for the sons of men, which they should do under the heaven all the days of their life.

ECC_2:4 I made me great works; I builded me houses; I planted me vineyards:

ECC_2:5 I made me gardens and orchards, and I planted trees in them of all [kind of] fruits:

ECC_2:6 I made me pools of water, to water therewith the wood that bringeth forth trees:

ECC_2:7 I got [me] servants and maidens, and had servants born in my house; also I had great possessions of great and small cattle above all that were in Jerusalem before me:

ECC_2:8 I gathered me also silver and gold, and the peculiar treasure of kings and of the provinces: I gat me men singers and women singers, and the delights of the sons of men, [as] musical instruments, and that of all sorts.

ECC_2:9 So I was great, and increased more than all that were before me in Jerusalem: also my wisdom remained with me.

ECC_2:10 And whatsoever mine eyes desired I kept not from them, I withheld not my heart from any joy; for my heart rejoiced in all my labour: and this was my portion of all my labour.

ECC_2:11 Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and, behold, all [was] vanity and vexation of spirit, and [there was] no profit under the sun.

ECC_2:12 And I turned myself to behold wisdom, and madness, and folly: for what [can] the man [do] that cometh after the king? [even] that which hath been already done.

ECC_2:13 Then I saw that wisdom excelleth folly, as far as light excelleth darkness.

ECC_2:14 The wise man's eyes [are] in his head; but the fool walketh in darkness: and I myself perceived also that one event happeneth to them all.

ECC_2:15 Then said I in my heart, As it happeneth to the fool, so it happeneth even to me; and why was I then more wise? Then I said in my heart, that this also [is] vanity.

ECC_2:16 For [there is] no remembrance of the wise more than of the fool for ever; seeing that which now [is] in the days to come shall all be forgotten. And how dieth the wise [man]? as the fool.

ECC_2:17 Therefore I hated life; because the work that is wrought under the sun [is] grievous unto me: for all [is] vanity and vexation of spirit.

ECC_2:18 Yea, I hated all my labour which I had taken under the sun: because I should leave it unto the man that shall be after me.

ECC_2:19 And who knoweth whether he shall be a wise [man] or a fool? yet shall he have rule over all my labour wherein I have laboured, and wherein I have showed myself wise under the sun. This [is] also vanity.

ECC_2:20 Therefore I went about to cause my heart to despair of all the labour which I took under the sun.

ECC_2:21 For there is a man whose labour [is] in wisdom, and in knowledge, and in equity; yet to a man that hath not laboured therein shall he leave it [for] his portion. This also [is] vanity and a great evil.

ECC_2:22 For what hath man of all his labour, and of the vexation of his heart, wherein he hath laboured under the sun?

ECC_2:23 For all his days [are] sorrows, and his travail grief; yea, his heart taketh not rest in the night. This is also vanity.

ECC_2:24 [There is] nothing better for a man, [than] that he should eat and drink, and [that] he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it [was] from the hand of God.

ECC_2:25 For who can eat, or who else can hasten [hereunto], more than I?

ECC_2:26 For [God] giveth to a man that [is] good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to [him that is] good before God. This also [is] vanity and vexation of spirit.

ECC_3:1 To every [thing there is] a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

ECC_3:2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up [that which is] planted;

ECC_3:3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

ECC_3:4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

ECC_3:5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

ECC_3:6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

ECC_3:7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

ECC_3:8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

ECC_3:9 What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?

ECC_3:10 I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.

ECC_3:11 He hath made every [thing] beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

ECC_3:12 I know that [there is] no good in them, but for [a man] to rejoice, and to do good in his life.

ECC_3:13 And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it [is] the gift of God.

ECC_3:14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth [it], that [men] should fear before him.

ECC_3:15 That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.

ECC_3:16 And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, [that] wickedness [was] there; and the place of righteousness, [that] iniquity [was] there.

ECC_3:17 I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for [there is] a time there for every purpose and for every work.

1CO_7:15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such [cases]: but God hath called us to peace.

1CO_7:16 For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save [thy] husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save [thy] wife?

1CO_7:17 But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.

1CO_7:18 Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised.

1CO_7:19 Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.

1CO_7:20 Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.

1CO_7:21 Art thou called [being] a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use [it] rather.

1CO_7:22 For he that is called in the Lord, [being] a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, [being] free, is Christ's servant.

1CO_7:23 Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.

1CO_7:24 Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.

1CO_7:25 Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful.

1CO_7:26 I suppose therefore that this is good for the present distress, [I say], that [it is] good for a man so to be.

1CO_7:27 Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife.

1CO_7:28 But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you.

1CO_7:29 But this I say, brethren, the time [is] short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none;

1CO_7:30 And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not;

1CO_7:31 And they that use this world, as not abusing [it]: for the fashion of this world passeth away.

1CO_7:32 But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:

1CO_7:33 But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please [his] wife.

1CO_7:34 There is difference [also] between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please [her] husband.

1CO_7:35 And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.

PSA_104:4 Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

PSA_104:5 [Who] laid the foundations of the earth, [that] it should not be removed for ever.

PSA_104:6 Thou coveredst it with the deep as [with] a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.

PSA_104:7 At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.

PSA_104:8 They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.

PSA_104:9 Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.

PSA_104:10 He sendeth the springs into the valleys, [which] run among the hills.

PSA_104:11 They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.

PRO_22:18 For [it is] a pleasant thing if thou keep them within thee; they shall withal be fitted in thy lips.

PRO_22:19 That thy trust may be in the LORD, I have made known to thee this day, even to thee.

LUKJ_18:16 Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

LUKJ_18:17 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

LUKJ_18:19 Why callest thou me good? none [is] good, save one, [that is], God.

LUKJ_18:20 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.

LUKJ_18:22 Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
